I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off and I jerked up in bed and slapped the snooze button. Today is my first day attending Hope's Peak Academy as the Ultimate Athlete. I am a transfer student from a school in America, and Hope's Peak has allowed me to attend for the last 4 months of my sophomore year and for my junior and senior year. I woke up, got dressed in my uniform, and walked over to my mini-fridge at the corner of my dorm room. I arrived late last night but managed to pick up some fruit at the store before arriving. I had left my family to come to Hope's Peak which was sad for me, but I couldn't wait to start new.

I started walking to my first class which I had been looking for for the past 10 minutes. 'Dammit, I'm going to be late on my first day,' I thought as I started to run to make it to class on time. As I finally approached the door to my class, I was greeted by lots of laughter and shouting. I entered awkwardly, finding a spot in the corner of the room. There was an empty seat next to it. 'I wonder who that's for,' I thought to myself.

"Hello everyone! Today we have our first-ever transfer student from America! Everyone, please welcome (y/n) (l/n), the Ultimate Athlete! I am Miss Yukisome," she said to me. I waved my hand to the class and a few people waved back. A brunette girl who seemed to be excited to have a new student stood up and said, "Hi! I'm Aoi Asahina! But my friends just call me Hina. I am the Ultimate Swimming Pro!" 'She seems like someone that would be fun to compete with,' I thought to myself. I have grown up swimming but I have always been good at all sports, earning me the title, 'The Ultimate Athlete.'

The rest of the class went through their introductions except for one blonde-haired boy in particular. He was standing off by himself, reading as though I didn't even exist. 'I'm not going to deal with some asshole that thinks he can ignore me and not even introduce himself,' I thought as I walked up to him. "Hi, um--" I was cut off by him. "What the hell do you want? Can't you see I'm reading?" I couldn't help but notice that I jumped a little from his reaction. "Oh! I'm sorry!" I started walking away until I thought, 'I'm not going to be pushed around by some jerk.' I whipped back around and walked back up to him. "I thought I told you, I want to be--" I cut him off. "I'm not about to deal with an asshole like you who won't even bother telling him your name. As you probably heard--" Now it was his turn to cut me off. "I know, I heard. The name's Byakuya Togami, the Ultimate Affluent Progeny." Well, that explains his 'I'm better than you' personality. I could tell he seemed shocked that I had told him off. 'I wonder if anyone has ever done that to him before,' I couldn't help but think as I returned to my seat.

Miss Yukizome was about to start her class right as a boy with short, black hair barged into the room. "Sorry that I am late, Miss Yukizome! I was busy dealing with a fellow student. It will not happen again!" he said as he bowed to her. He seemed to be some sort of hall monitor. He walked over and sat in the seat next to me. And that is when class began.

Taka's POV:

'Who is this girl?' Taka thought as he made quick glances over at you. 'She's so attractive, I wish I could just hold her--NO! Stop thinking unwholesome thoughts!' He kept making glances at you a few more times and admired the way you work.

Your POV:

'How long are these classes?' I thought as I sighed. I glanced over at the hall monitor boy who was returning my stare. We quickly averted eye contact. 'How long was he looking at me?' I wondered. The sound of the bell broke me out of my thoughts. I quickly got up and made my way to the door. I started to jog to my next class because I had no idea how long it would take me to find it.

3 minutes went by, 4 minutes. I kept picking up the pace worried that I wouldn't be able to find the class in the next 3 minutes. I started full out sprinting. I always loved to run even when it wasn't necessary. The feeling of being free--a shout from down the hall broke me out of my thoughts. I turned around and I saw the hall monitor from my first class.
