Even if You're With Him ✔

Chapter 31

Taehyung is only able to introduce himself to his guests before he rushes to Seokjin's side, who has passed out in Jungkook's arms. He, along with Jimin, push everyone out of their path to reach Seokjin. Meanwhile, Namjoon ushers everyone out of the ballroom, and orders his security team to keep an eye on Mr. Kim and have him followed when he leaves. 

When Taehyung and Jimin are finally able to reach Seokjin, Jungkook has snapped out of his state of shock and allows Jimin to hold on to Seokjin. He gets up with his eyes zeroed in on Taehyung, grabs him by the collar and punches him causing Taehyung to fall to the floor. "You piece of shit!" he yells down on him and kicks him in the stomach. "You have any idea the hell Seokjin went through because of you!?"

Namjoon and Yoongi rush to get Jungkook off Taehyung and start pulling him out of the room. "Don't fucking touch me! You two are traitors!" He yells as he's getting dragged out and points an accusatory finger at Taehyung. "You stay the hell away from husband or I'll kill you!"

Taehyung, who's still on the ground, crawls towards Seokjin and takes him from Jimin. "I'll take him to my office. You should check on Jungkook."

"Taehyung, I don't think its a good idea to leave you alone with him," Jimin says trying to reach for Seokjin again but is pushed away.

Taehyung looks up at him with pleading eyes already attempting to lift Seokjin up. "I promise I won't do anything and if he wakes up and leaves then I will respect his wishes, but I don't want him to wake up and think what he just saw was just a dream." Jimin is hesitant but gives in with a small nod. Taehyung carries Seokjin through a different exit and goes into an elevator that leads to his office. Jimin follows to assure no one is going after them and returns to the others once he witnesses the elevator doors close. 

Namjoon and Yoongi are still fighting against Jungkook who is trying to get back inside the building. "Let go of me!" Jungkook breaks free from Namjoon, but Yoongi still has a tight hold on him. 

He starts pushing against Yoongi before he's eventually tackled to the ground by the shorter man, and he sees red once Yoongi smacks him causing him to flip them over landing on top of the other. He lifts his fist up, but is stopped before he releases the blow to Yoongi's face. "Think about what you're about to do," Jimin whispers dangerously. His grip is painfully tight around Jungkook's wrist, keeping him from punching Yoongi. "You have every right to be furious and demand answers, but you are on top of someone who is pregnant. Now put your fist down and get off Yoongi before Namjoon kills you."

As if a spell is broken Jungkook realizes what he is doing and immediately gets off his friend and helps him up. He looks over at Namjoon, who is shooting a murderous glare at him ready to pounce, but is being held back by security. "Namjoon, take him to a doctor to get checked," Jimin orders, "I'll make sure everyone is cleared out." Namjoon is let go and walks towards Yoongi, wrapping a protective arm around his boyfriend and walks away with him, leaving Jungkook and Jimin behind alone.

Jungkook looks at his ex-fiancee with complete betrayal on his face. "What the hell was that in there? What the hell did we see at the funeral?"

Jimin looks back apologetically and sighs. "It would be better explained by Namjoon and Yoongi. I am still not too sure of the details at the beginning since I didn't know Taehyung was alive until after I had already left."

Jungkook scoffs and looks away. "Of course. Let me guess, your friends needed help, and you being the soft natured soul you are, just couldn't refuse," he says sarcastically. "And now you're back and Taehyung is alive and you just want things to go back to normal."

"No, I don't expect for things to go back to normal. Taehyung and I are aware that you and Seokjin are married now. He came back to be with his daughter, and I came back because this is my home. We both agreed to respect your marriage, and we just want to be civil with the two of you, while we work side by side in the next coming months," Jimin explains.
