ARTEMIS and Din walked down the dark road with the child's cradle floating beside them. It had been a couple hours since they had left Chandrila and her heart still ached upon having to leave her friends behind. Cody wanted to join them, but she had told them to stay behind. He needed time to heal and time to strengthen up. Although these last days with decent food and water had done him good, he was far from his usual body mass and he knew it.

Instead, he had given her her armor back. He had lent it a couple of days ago, saying he wanted to paint it, and now, it was a dark green.

"It matches your eyes," was all that Cody had said. "And it's much better than the white. That just brings back memories."

And so, Artemis decided to not part with her armor anymore. Even right now, she was wearing it. She still had to get used to it, but that wouldn't take long. The chest plate felt heavy against her chest, pressing her breasts closer to her body, but she knew the feeling would pass, it had done so before. She smiled as the recalled Din's reaction on seeing her wearing it for the first time.

"You're beautiful," he said, taking her hand and twirling her around. "It really suits you."

Artemis' green eyes darted over to the red eyes that were watching them from the shadows and she felt herself shudder.

"I don't like it either," Din said softly, touching the back of her hand. "We'll leave right after we got the information."

"I'll hold you onto that," Artemis muttered.

They continued their journey down the street and Artemis used the Force to tell her whether or not the creatures would charge at them. When this didn't seem to be the case, Artemis relaxed slightly.

The trio arrived at their destination and they were met by a dark-skinned Twi'lek doorman.

"We're here to see Gor Koresh," Din told him, straightening his back to look intimidating.

The Twi'lek looked at Artemis, before looking at Grogu and back to Din. "Enjoy the fights," was all he said, stepping aside so they could enter.

Din walked in and Artemis followed pursuit, one hand on Grogu's cradle and one on her lightsaber. Din looked over his shoulder at her and she nodded, indicating that everything was all right.

They entered a room with in the middle a makeshift arena where two Gamorreans were currently fighting with vibro-axes amidst the cheers of the crowd.
