"I swear to god- TOMMY!"
The boy burst out into laughter, it being so loud and vibrant that it sent a shiver down Ray's spine. She on the other hands leaned back in her chair with a blank expression, staring at her 'you have died' screen.
"Oops. Sorry." Tommy exclaimed sarcastically, still getting over his laughing fit.
"That's it, I'm leaving." "Nooo! Don't, we haven't beaten the ender dragon yet!" "How are we supposed to do that if you keep throwing me into lava?! I had all of the good tools as well."
"Okay, okay, I'll stop doing that." Tommy promised. "Here, we can start again."
And Ray could only watch on his stream as he threw himself into lava as well, making her chuckle uncontrollably.
She couldn't help but feel a bit off. She was actually, genuinely, having fun. It was difficult for her to acknowledge, but now she could understand why so many people interacted with Tommy and why the demand for his videos was so high. He was hilarious, no doubt.
As Ray zoned out, her eyes shifted to her second monitor and widened in the slightest.
"Woah, we've been streaming for almost 3 and a half hours now." She muttered into her mic.
"Really?" Tommy paused, also looking at the time. "Then I think we should wrap the stream up. Or else there'll only be Americans in my chat, and we don't have that."
Ray let out a soft giggle, before they both deafened to say goodbye to their streams. The girl couldn't help but beam at the 245K number of viewers on her stream, and collectively with Tommy they had almost 800K people watching them. Wild.
"Alright everyone, it's been fun but it's really getting late and I have school tomorrow." Ray leaned her hand onto her curled up fist as she read out a bunch of donations and subscriptions.
"Hopefully this has proven that Tommy and I are actually good friends, I was so surprised when I saw all those tweets." She blurted out the lie, following up with a short laugh.
Turning her head, she noticed the new notification on her discord- from her chat on discord.
