Dahlia has long dreamed of becoming a lawyer, but her mother is absolutely determined to see her daughter study finance abroad. Hoping that her daughter will successfully settle down somewhere overseas, Dahlia's mother won't take "no" for an answer...
I realized that Dahlia does not remember me or our past because when I looked for the scar she would have known why I was doing it. She didn't remember our childhood, how she had to move to another place leaving me waiting for her and the promise she made of marrying me as kid. I was very disappointed but at the same time I thought she was there for our youthful promise to meet again and I had to marry her.
While I was distracted thinking about it, Dahlia left. I went back to the hospital for the meeting. After the meeting, Collin called me up to take me for dinner, but instead I took him to the boxing gym.
COLLIN'S P.O.V
I didn't dare to resist boss so I came up to the boxing gym with him. After the boxing, boss handed me a bottle of drink. I felt that he was suddenly too good to me.
TREY'S P.O.V
I took the opportunity to advise Collin, I already knew that Collin rented out my house to help Dahlia rent. I also found out that Dahlia did not have a boyfriend, because since childhood, Dahlia was surrounded by girls. He complained that if Dahlia had a boyfriend, he wouldn't have suffered so much. At this moment I was gorgeously elated. Suddenly, his phone rang. It was Dahlia.
DAHLIA'S P.O.V
I reached home after a tiring day but I was still happy to get a nicely decorated flat. Ah! Afterall he did something good. I hurried for a shower. But there was a power cut. I called Collin immediately to sort it out.
Collin, come to my place the power is off! Quickly! ~Me~
Yeah! I'm coming. ~Collin~
After an hour later I hear the knock at the door.
Dahlia open up its me, Collin
Coming! Oh, you are here.
AUTHOR'S P.O.V
In the dark, as soon as Collin called out, she opened the door and gave him a relieved hug. But it was Trey who was standing before her. Collin finished up the repair and asked Dahlia that he was going to buy some take out dinner for three of them leaving Trey and dahlia alone. He asks dahlia for her number so that he can give her details about the patient.
Dahlia was finding it rather weird because he seemed to want her near him all the time but gives him her number. Collin returns home shortly and after dinner Trey and Collin head back home.
DAHLIA'S P.O.V
It was late at night and I was still thinking about what I did today. Ugh! How could I do that. I started scrolling through get over it when Trey starts texting me up. He asks me to come to the park nearby for jogging in morning where he would give me the patient's detail. Huh! Finally I'll get the details.
Anyways, my bestie Jade, texts me up next asking me where's my apartment and if I had my plans for tomorrow.
Yeah jady! I'm too busy tomorrow. The guy from the airport I told ya about is the person I have to get details from and he's too rude. ~Me~

It was morning and I even went jogging with him. He provided me with a new jog suit and a pair of limited edition trainers which jade told me about.
Where's the detail? ~Me~
He then told me that I had to shadow him the whole day to get the details. I was so annoyed, but I wanted it. So after jog I went back home, got ready, had breakfast and went to hospital.
I attended his rounds in the morning with his student doctors and found how busy he really was.
I noticed a very pretty doctor.
Collin told me that the doctor was in the same level as Trey. She is Brew, second to Trey. Alright! It was getting too hard for me to attend all his rounds, his meetings, and I couldn't do it anymore.
I head to make conversation with Trey. I told him that I get it but he said it was not finished yet, there was still the afternoon as their deal in return for the summary of the case that I had to resolve.
He leans over me and tells me that the day was for his patients and the night was for personal things like her.
Oh okay! I stood there seeing him leave with a smirk and my cheeks turning red and hot. Wth! just happened. Anyways, He was called to perform a surgery which lasted till the evening.
I had to wait for him outside the theatre but I don't know when I fell asleep.
TREY'S P.O.V
Finally the surgery was finished and I wanted to get back to Dahlia as soon as I could. I saw Dahlia asleep on the bench waiting for me. I smiled at the way how she was still so hardworking and determined.
I sat next to her and gently guided her head into my shoulder.
