Y/n walked beside Osiris, eyes wide as he simply walked through the streets of Liyue with her, easily avoiding people and loose stones.

"So you were raised by hilichurls, huh?" Osiris questioned, "You know the language?"

"Yep!" y/n said proudly, "I've come to realize that humans aren't all that different from hilichurls!"

"Oh? Do enlighten me."

"Well, Hilichurls ands Humans have family and friends. They eat together, laugh together, cry together, fight together. They care for one another, love one another and even hate one another sometimes." y/n murmured, "We all have desires and some of us will do whatever it takes to get what we want. We betray others too and sometimes do what's best for the people we love."

"Fascinating..." Osiris murmured and y/n deadpanned, brows furrowing.

"It's not." y/n said flatly and yelped when she tripped over her own foot, "SH-"

Y/n was caught by the back of her cloak and Osiris easily helped her stand up straight again.

"You should watch your step." he told her then a grin found its way onto his face, "Man, you sure are clumsy. Almost like a child if you ask me."

"Idiot! I'm not a child!" y/n barked, "Look at me! I'm a young woman! Oh, right, you can't see cause you're blind you jerk!"

Osiris merely laughed off the rude comment, "I don't need to see you. I can listen, too, you know?"

He placed his hands on y/n's face and she froze. Osiris hummed quietly, feeling her face before nodding, "You certainly aren't a child, Miss Y/n, I knew that from the start."

The green eyed male offered her a smile, "You're very beautiful by the way. The potted plants in the Jade Palace said so, and they don't lie."

'WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO SAY TO THAT!???' y/n screeched internally, 'CHILDE TOLD ME ONCE BUT I PUNCHED HIM. XINGQIU DID THE SAME BUT HE LEFT BEFORE I COULD EVEN REPLY-'

"Oh! Those must be your friends over there!" Osiris chirped, nodding in the direction of Paimon and Aether.

"Yoohoo~!" Osiris greeted, walking over with a friendly expression, "Might you be this young lady's guardians?"

"Hey! They're not my guardians!" y/n snapped, running after the blind male, "You dumb old geezer!"

Osiris laughed once more, "Old? I'm only a year older than you, silly!"

"Huh? Who are you?" Paimon questioned.

Aether's eyes narrowed, "And what are you doing with y/n?"

"Ah, nobody in particular." Osiris said warmly then leaned closer to y/n, whispering, "Is the anemo guy your boyfriend?"

"Nye. He's my friend."

Osiris chuckled, "What a shame. You two would be cute together."

Y/n blinked, not understanding.

"I've come to bring your little friend back!" Osiris exclaimed, "She sort of got lost in the Jade Chamber."

"Seriously, y/n?" Paimon sighed.

Y/n pouted, "Shut up, Paimon."

"Well! I'll be on my way now!" Osiris exclaimed then pat y/n on the head, "Bye bye now! I hope to see you again!"

Y/n looked away and mumbled, "Bye."

She silently willed the boy to trip as he walked off but he didn't, much to her disappointment.

Now that she thought about it, he mentioned something about the plants saying something. He had a dendro vision, he could apparently hear plants, so maybe that was how he avoided tripping.

"Sorry about wandering off." she apologized to Aether with a sheepish smile, rubbing the back of her neck.

Aether who was glaring at Osiris' retreating figure looked back at the girl with softer eyes, "Ah, it's fine."

"Where's the Old man? I got him a souvenir as promised-" y/n questioned, showing Paimon an hourglass that ahd caught her attention.

"Y/n!" Paimon gasped, "What has Paimon told you about stealing?"

"Osiris said I could keep it." y/n pointed out to the duo with a frown.

"Who is that Osiris dude anyways?" Aether questioned, "There's something off about him."

"Well, he seems to be closely affiliated with Ningguang..." y/n murmured then smiled, "Didya like the new word I used?"

"Yeah, good job, y/n!" Aether told the girl with a smile and y/n beamed.

"Back to your question about Mr. Zhongli, he left to go handle some business with the Funeral Parlor. Apparently, since he's partnered with the Fatui, he's been having a hard time." Paimon explained.

Y/n frowned, "Aw... I hope he isn't getting stressed by all of this."

"So what did Zhongli mean by looking for the fuse?" Paimon inquired, turning to look at Aether.

"Mr. More-Money-Than-Sense." Aether scoffed and y/n tilted her head.

"Who's that?"

Aether gave her a sweet smile, "Nobody, don't worry about it y/n."

"Ooh, Paimon gets it! If there's anyone that wants to see the whole city turned upside down, it's definitely him." Paimon realized, "He must be waiting for the moment when no-one is watching to do something really bad! But, where could we find him now?"

"I think I have a good idea on where." Aether murmured then glanced at y/n again, "Paimon and I are going to check something out at Mt. Tianheng."

"That place gives me the chills..." y/n murmured then shook her head, "I'll just stay here and check on Zhongli."

"Alright! See you soon!" Paimon exclaimed, waving to y/n as her and Aether went on their way.

Y/n smiled, waving after them, "Alright! Be safe you three! I'll be at the Wanmin Restaurant!"
