"So in short, I'm stuck in the body of some random Fatui member, my real body is stuck in a block of ice and you're the only one who can see who I actually am." y/n finished, hands on her hips, "Worst of all, I have a penis!"

The h/c haired female's copy snorted, covering her mouth to hold back a laugh.

"What're you laughing about!?" y/n demanded, poking her copy's cheek.

"Sorry, sorry." the copy replied, "Just call me Y/n. Is it okay if I call you n/n? Since we have the same name."

"That's actually my nickname." N/n mumbled then nodded, "Alright."

(This is so confusing for me...)

"So... how do I help you get back?" y/n asked as the duo started walking together.

"Not sure." N/n admitted with a shrug, "My body is on fire right now, not literally, and the ice my body is stuck in takes a while to melt"

"Snezhnayan I'm guessing." Y/n chuckled and n/n nodded.

"Well, in the mean time, you can hang with me if you'd like." Y/n offered, "If you're really ke from another timeline then I'd like to get to know you a bit!"

N/n blinked then smiled, "Sure."

↢Aether's POV↣

Oh no no no no no.

No. No way. This was not happening.

Aether stared at the spot y/n had been when he'd left her, eyes wide.

She was nowhere in sight.

Had she maybe gotten free and ran to help everyone fight Osial? Had she been killed? Did she drown?

"Where's y/n? She was here when we left her!" Paimon cried, checking each and every corner of the Golden House, "Y/n! Come out, this isn't funny!"

"Leave it to you two to screw everything up." Fintan mumbled from where he was standing not far off, arms crossed and his cold eyes looking elsewhere.

"Well Paimon didn't see you here helping y/n!" Paimon snapped.

"Of course you didn't, you and blondie over here had run off." Fintan snapped back, "But... I was late. When I got here, she was already dead."

"Dead!?" Paimon yelped.

"You're lying!" Aether protested.

Fintan raised an eyebrow, "Lying? You think I'd lie about my own daughter's death? I've seen people get turned into human popsicles and not once have I seen them survive the experience."

"Some Father you are!" Aether snapped, "Not once have I seen you at least try to protect her!"

"Boy, don't make me come over there and whip your ass." Fintan seethed, drawing his blade, "I can and I will."

"Wait, wait, wait, don't fight!" Paimon protested as Aether did the same, eyes narrowed.

"Mm, no, let em. I wanna see if the old dude wins!" Osiris chirped from where he sat not far off, green eyes bright.

"Please, you can't even see!" Paimon told the smirking male.

"Don't have to." Osiris replied then stood with a yawn, "In all seriousness, don't fight. I'll have to arrest you both."

Fintan let out a quiet 'tch' but sheathed his blade, annoyance written on his face.

Aether hesitated before relaxing as Osiris walked over to the two males.

"I know what happened to your little girlfriend, Traveler." Osiris announced.

"Girlfriend!?" Aether and Fintan said in usion, the blond in shock while the h/c haired girl's father seemed enraged.

"How do you know about what happened to her, huh?" Paimon demanded.

Osiris merely smiled, "You'd be surprised how much plants like to gossip. I typically leave a plant in places like the Golden House. Think of them as spies in disguise."

"But... plants can't talk."

"They can. Normies like you just can't hear them!" Osiris laughed, "Anyways, it was an Abyss Mage and two mitachurls. One minute they were here, the next they weren't. So basically..."

"SHE WAS KIDNAPPED!" Paimon shrieked, "Y/N WAS KIDNAPPED BY THE ABYSS ORDER!"

"I wouldn't go that far... it may have just been some independent Abyss Mage." Osiris tried.

"Nope. Abyss Order." Aether sighed.

Fintan shook his head, "That child..."

He turned away and began strolling out of the Golden House.

"Hey! Where are you going?" Paimon called after Fintan.

"Going to get my sword bloody, that's what!"

"Out of context, that sounds really weird..." Osiris murmured then smiled, "Traveler. I suggested you continue looking for your sister. I'll see what I can do about your girlfriend!"

Aether exhaled, "She's not my girlfriend."

"Oh? So she's up for grabs?" Osiris asked, brows raised, "Lucky me."

Aether growled and the green eyed male gave him a wave before leaving the Golden House.

"Hm... Paimon hopes y/n is okay..." Paimon murmured, "What do you think the Abyss Order wants with her?"

"Not sure." Aether admitted, "Come on, let's go Paimon. We've got some investigating to do."

"Right!" Paimon exclaimed with a look of determination, "Let's go save y/n!"

(I have a track meet today...)

(I'm not upset, it's just that I was so nervous during the 400, I couldn't keep my legs from shaking while I was preparing to start)
