Jimin comes home after his weekend trip to Busan only to find his fiance naked in bed with Lisa, Jungkook's ex wife. Jimin's heart broke.

Jimin's luggage falls to the ground making a thud and Jungkook wakes up groggy. Jungkook's smile falters when he sees Jimin stand there crying. Jungkook turns to the side when he feels something heavy on him.

"It's not what it looks like…" Jungkook's eyes are wide and desperate as he gets out of bed. He was completely naked

"If you wanted to get back together.. you shouldn't have promised me that you wanted to marry me…" Jimin says removing his ring and giving it to Jungkook ".. we are over Jungkook... be happy with her.."

"Jimin wait! Let's please talk about it…"

Jimin walks away before Jungkook could dress up and catch up to him. Jimin was hurt. He needed time to calm himself before hearing anything Jungkook had to say

Jimin and Jungkook were friends for a very long time. They hadn’t really thought of each other as anything other than friends, that was until Jungkook's parents arranged for Jungkook to marry Lisa. Jimin was disappointed in himself that he never realised he had been in love with his best friend all along. Jungkook had no emotions about the marriage. The man was ready to commit to anyone his parents brought him. Jungkook was a one person man, even if at the moment he was not in love with Lisa, he was ready to give her his entire being. Jungkook believed in the institution of marriage and was a traditional guy. Jungkook did his best to provide for his wife. She wasn't ready to be physically intimate yet and Jungkook was okay with that. He wasn't ready either.

Jungkook after their 6 months of marriage had started liking Lisa as his wife. Obviously because they were married, else he wouldn't have liked her. Jungkook did his best to make their marriage work. But in their 8th month of marriage Jungkook found out Lisa had been cheating on him all along and he was left heart broken. He felt it was his fault that their marriage led to a divorce. He felt like he didn't deserve love. Jungkook had invested himself into their relationship and he was left with nothing when Lisa broke his heart and divorced him

Jimin was the only one who stood by him. Even his parents blamed him a little, that if he had consummated the marriage maybe Lisa would have been with him

Jimin supported Jungkook. Taught him what love really was about. Jimin gave Jungkook reasons to love himself. And slowly Jungkook started falling for his best friend, finally after 2 years of his divorce.

They dated for about 3 weeks before Jungkook asked Jimin to go steady and in another 2 weeks Jungkook asked the boy to marry him and of course Jimin said yes. Jungkook wanted Jimin to be his as soon as possible

Jimin went to stay with Jin, his cousin. He doesn't answer any of Jungkook's calls

Taehyung, Jungkook's colleague and mutual friend,calls up Jimin after finding out the reason behind Jungkook's absence from work and his depression

Jimin goes to meet Jungkook. He doesn't want the man to go through his depressive phase again.

Jungkook had a work party that evening for their collaboration with a new company and he got drunk. Taehyung was the one who dropped Jungkook home. Lisa was also at the party - the company she worked in was the other group that was at that party. She had broken up with her boyfriend by then and she wanted Jungkook back. Taking the opportunity of his drunkenness, she enters the apartment - Taehyung hadn’t locked the door when he left, and strips herself and Jungkook naked before getting into bed with him. She wanted him to think they had sex and that he needed to take responsibility for it

"Jimin please believe me... I would never cheat on you... you know how I feel about cheaters... please... I wouldn't…" Jungkook is crying

Jimin cries as he hugs the man "... I know.... I'm sorry I wasn't ready to hear your side…."

"Didn't you trust me?" Jungkook's broken voice makes Jimin feel guilty

"I trust you Jungkook...it's not about that...I needed time to forget what I saw… It was a shock for me to witness you both naked on our bed...and the fact remains that even if you guys were married only for 8 months, at some point you did like her… she is not just a random girl Jungkook…. She was someone who had meaning in your life… she was someone you wanted to fight your relationship for… and that hurt…" Jimin sobbed

"I'm sorry… I'm so sorry Jimin… I love you… I hope you will one day erase that image from your mind… I…" Jungkook starts sobbing into his hands " ...I know it's hard… I myself get nightmares when I remember her next to me… I feel so disgusted with myself for allowing that to happen…"

Jimin was shocked to hear Jungkook say that and immediately shuts Jungkook up with a kiss "...you have nothing to be disgusted about! Don't ever let your mind go there! You are mine and always will be...I love you…"

Jungkook smiles "...so you will take this back? And be mine officially?" Jungkook takes the ring hanging on his necklace

Jimin nods his head as he smiles

"I love you Jungkook…"

"I love you too Jimin"
