"what the fuck is happening?" soobin muttered to himself as the other two fought.

"i thought you had no plans on ever coming to korea." jeremy said snarkily. "i didn't until i met soobin." the smaller remarked. jeremy looked over at soobin and cocked his head. "i can see why. i would drop everything for this cutie too."

"oi! you leave soobin alone. he's mine." daniel said, pushing the taller. "he's yours? are you two dating? cause i highly doubt it. who'd date a shorty like you?"

though soobin was still lost on what they were saying, he could tell that daniel was close to losing it so he finally stepped in.

"stop! let's just calm down and get in the car. we're making a scene." he spoke, getting in between the two and slightly pushing the two away from each other. daniel glared at jeremy before stomping off and getting into the passenger seat, jeremy doing the same.
Soobin let out a sigh before getting into the car. "just take me to my dads place, okay soobin?" jeremy spoke in a flirty tone which obviouslly pissed daniel off.

"o-okay." daniel saw the uncomfortable look on soobins face and took it personal.

"look you made him uncomfortable you asshole."

"i only told him to take me home. that's it."

"then say it in a normal tone."

soobin ignored the two bickering boys as he drove to his teachers house which felt very alien to him.

he was happy that daniel was not gonna become his step brother but if him and jeremy are just gonna argue all the time, how is he gonna tutor them both? how will they be able to handle being at school together if all they do is fight? now that he thinks about it, how do they even know each other?

he arrived at mr chois house and jeremy bid his farewell to soobin only after giving the male his number and was now driving towards daniels apartment.

"fuck that guy really pisses me off." daniel huffed as he slouched in his seat, crossing his arms like a child. "how do you even know him?" soobin asked, quickly glancing over at him.

"he lives in the town over from my area so we competed at basketball tournaments and our first meeting didn't go so well. the guy was such an ass that i threw a ball at his head then complained that i gave him a concussion. after that all we do is fight and he always has to take it out on my height just because he's 6'3. i aint even that short though! i was so glad to be moving far away from him but he just had to follow me. i mean how did he even know i would be here?" daniel ranted, stress in his tone.

"my mom is dating his dad and he's gonna become my step brother. he's also gonna attend my school so i have to teach him korean like you." the younger explained. "what? that's the other guy? oh for fucks sake."

"i'm sorry dan. i should've asked mr choi about his son before." soobin apologised, slowing down to a red light. daniel turned in his seat and made soobin look at him.

"no i'm sorry. i wanted today to be special and all i've done is yell and sulk. lemme take you out for dinner tonight. as a date." the smaller proposed, staring deep into soobins eyes.

soobins jaw dropped as he stared back, taken aback by what the elder had told him.

"a-a-a-a what??" soobin stuttered, face bright red. "a date. to make up for today and to celebrate our first meeting." daniel smiled. soobin was so starstrucked that he didn't even realise he had frozen until the car behind him honked their horn, signalling from him to drive.

soobins face was flustered as he panicked, going to drive away but ended up stalling the car, muttering a curse word under his breath. daniel -who was watching the whole ordeal happen- found it cute, videoing the whole thing.

they eventually made it to the elders apartment complex, soobin parking outside and getting out to help daniel.

"so when are you free? so i can take you out?" daniel asked, grabbing his heaviest suitcase that's mostly filled with shoes. "i have work today but i end at 6 if you want to take me out after then." he explained, grabbing the last bag and shutting the boot of his car.

"okay but i don't know where any of the restaurants are so you're gonna have to help." daniel said embarrassingly, chuckling. soobin nodded, agreeing to helping the older.

the two entered the building and took the lift up to daniels floor.

"is this your first time living alone?" soobin asked daniel as he listened to the soft elevator music. "no actually. the school i went to was far from my house so my mom got me an apartment closer to it but made sure i had to visit on the weekends." elder replied, laughing slightly.

the two left the elevator, dragging the suitcases and bags to daniels door, unlocking to see boxes everywhere.

"ah shit." daniel muttered, dropping the bags he was holding and going to move the boxes around to make space for the two.

"i'm sorry. i told my stupid father to not leave them just lying around willy nilly."

"oh no it's okay. i can help you unpack."

soobin shot daniel a smile that exposed his bunny teeth which made daniel coo at, going over to the younger to pinch his cheeks.

"thank you soobinnie! but you have school and work to get to so get going. i'll be fine on my own." the elder said, flashing him a smile and lightly pushing the taller out of his place who was laughing at the smaller male. "okay but i'll come over tomorrow to help and also give you your school uniform and timetable."

the two bid their goodbyes and daniel stood at his apartment door, watching the younger disappear into the elevator.
