Sierra's pov

That afternoon I stayed behind closed doors and went straight to bed to take a nap. There was too much going on in my head and it was way too hot for me to be overthinking. I ended up not waking up till seven that evening and even then I didn't bother leaving my room. I could hear everyone laughing from the living room loudly. I hated the fact that I knew Aaron was there. Some might call it childish of me to stay in my room until everyone went to bed for me to grab dinner but I didn't really feel like confronting my ex. It also didn't help that my room was next to his. I nearly considered asking Mia and Justin if they wanted to switch for the rest of summer as their room was the furtherest away from the guest room.

That next morning the girls and I woke up bright and early and were chilling in the living room. I was sitting cross-legged on the sofa with a bowl of fruit loops in my hands. "We can go on that picnic today if you want" Mia suggested.

"Oh so now you want to go on a picnic" I rolled my eyes taking a moutfull of cereal in my mouth.

"How many times do we have to apologise for that?" Veronica exclaimed.

"Until you're forgiven" I smirked. "I'm going to get ready" I announced, standing up. I grabbed my phone off the coffee table in my hand and my unfinished bowl of cereal in the other. As I walked down the hall to my room Aaron decided it would be a great time to walk out of the spare bedroom. He sharply rounded the corner and bumped into me causing the milk and fruit loops to spill over my shirt and drip down to my shorts. I gasped as I felt the cold liquid seep through my t-shirt. I was quick enough to grab a hold of the bowl but in compensation my phone fell out of my hands.

"Oh shit I'm so sorry" He apologised. His voice sounded raspy indictating he had just woken up.

"It's fine" I gritted out through clenched teeth. I bent down to pick up my phone and quickly shouldered past him avoiding eye contact. Once I made it to my room into my room I slammed the door shut. "for fucks sake" I muttered as I stared at my ruined shirt. I quickly took it off and took a shower. After thirty minutes I got dressed in a white floral summer dress which complimented my tanned skin. My brown hair was clipped back into a low bun with a white claw clip.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a light brown, woven basket from the storage unit

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a light brown, woven basket from the storage unit. I opened the pantry door and walked into it to grab a few snacks. I settled on biscuits, crackers, chips and candy. I knew It definetely wouldn't be enough which means I would have to make sandwiches. When I made a move to close the door, I shrieked when I saw Aaron leaning against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest. I started breathing heavily. "What the hell are you doing?" I snapped. I had a hand on my heart as I tried to get my heartbeat back to normal. He looked as if if he was enjoying my 'mini heart attack'.

"I heard we are going on a picnic" He answered. I rolled my eyes as he completly missed my question. I turned my back to him and walked over to the island to arrange the snacks in the basket.
