kayla: alrighty, bye hon!
kairi: bye, kayla, keep this bitch out of trouble
kayla: I will for sure... not do that

they laughed and hugged

kairi: thank you, for helping me
kayla: its no problem!

dylan and andy walked up to kairi

dylan: see you around, man
kairi: see you
andy: IM GONNA MISS YOU

andy hugged him

kairi: IM GONNA MISS YOU TOO!

all three of them hugged and pretended to cry

eli: this is so embarrassing

they laughed and they went to go stand by kayla. kairi looked at me and smiled, I had a sad expression on my face though. he walked towards me

kairi: I have something for you

he reached into his pocket, pulling out a box. he gave it to me and I opened it, revealing the little diamond turtle necklace I wanted when I was younger.

eli: kai..

I looked at it and my eyes started to water, I looked up at him and he was trying to fight back the tears as well with a smile. that smile quivered though and soon turned to a frown. I buried my face into his chest and hugged him

eli: im gonna miss you..
kairi: im gonna miss you too..

he hugged me tightly and kissed my head

henry: hey guys, we need to start going
eli: right...

we let go, wiping our tears away

kairi: take care
eli: you too...I love you..

he looked shocked, but then he softly smiled

kairi: I love you

we waved goodbye and I left.

kairis pov:

eli: you too...I love you..

we've said that a million times ever since we were smaller.. but this time.. it was a lot different.

kairi: I love you

I looked down at her, in that moment I just wanted to grab her and kiss her. I want her, so badly that it hurts.. but I cant have her.. nor am I going to try to take her from dylan.. she deserves to move on and be happy, even if it isn't with me. I smiled at her and waved goodbye. I stood there for a while until I couldn't see her anymore and then I walked out, back to my car and drive home. I stayed in the parking lot for a while and just sat in my car

kairi: I love you..

warm tears started rolling down my cheeks, I rested my head on the steering wheel trying to control myself but couldn't. i've got her back in my life, so why am I like this.. why am I crying..

eli's pov:

the whole flight home I was fidgeting with the necklace till I fell asleep. all I could think of was kairi, when would I be able to see him again? after I graduate from school, would I even have time to go visit? it was a long flight home but for the most part, kayla made it go by quickly, with all our laughing, im pretty sure we made the flight even longer for the people around us. the next day we had finally arrived at japan in the evening, we did the whole airport routine and then went out to the waiting area where our guardians were waiting. and well..
