All My Fault

"Our first priority is getting to the bottom of who was responsible for this attack." I heard the captain say before Rapunzel threw the doors to the throne room open. "There's no question who's behind it. The question is what was Varian after?" Rapunzel said with me trailing behind her. "That boy is dangerous! And I assure you he will pay dearly." The king said as he glared at me and I glared right back at him.

"Listen Dad, he's up to something. And we need to get to the bottom-" Rapunzel was cut off by the king. "We needn't do anything. The situation is being handled, Rapunzel." The king said and before I knew it I was being shoved to the ground by various guards. 'What's going on?!' My hands were cuffed behind my back. I glared up at the king as he just stood there and watched his guards cuff me. Before the guards could pull me back up by the cuffs I covered my arms with an orange flame.

"(Y/n)!" Rapunzel yelled and I faltered causing the flames to disappear. One of the guards forced me to stand and I hissed in pain. "What's going on?!" I yelled as I glared at the king. "Father what are you doing?!" Rapunzel yelled as she stared at him. "That girl is working with Varian. She's obviously the one who brought in the machine that attacked you." The king said.

"She's the one that has been giving me information!" Rapunzel said trying to explain, but he wouldn't listen. "While I'm not on anyone's side, I don't want anyone to get hurt!" I yelled out. "You need my help more than you know! You have no idea what you're up against!" The guards picked me up so my feet were no longer on the floor. I started kicking trying to get down. "You don't understand the game you're playing! I've been playing this game far too long to only lose because of some low life king that refuses to listen and accept help when it's right in front of him!" I yelled before I was dragged out of the room and out of the kings view.

I was dragged all the way down to the dungeon. They took me down a few turns and I knew that I was way farther into the dungeon than anyone of the other inmates are. I didn't put up much of a fight as the guards cuffed both of my hands far away from each other. They tried making the cuffs as tight as they could possibly go, but I arms light back up making them all back away. I watched as all of the guards that dragged me down here left. I sat on the ground pulling at the restraints.

'Ugh! I should've done something instead of just yelling like an idiot! But if I did anything then they would say that I couldn't be trusted even more!' I scolded myself as orange covered almost my entire body. I got onto one knee and tried pulling up at the restraints again. I sighed as I fell back onto my butt making the orange disappear.

"Meow." I heard from behind me and I turned my head to the small window in the cell. "Sunny!!!" I said and I watched as he squeezed through the bars and rubbed against one of my arms. He looked down at my hands before looking back up at me with a questioning look. I tried to force a small smile. "G-guess who was falsely accused...again.." I said but I sighed letting my fake smile fade. "What am I going to do? Ugh it's almost nightfall to. That means we'll have to spend the night here and not with-oh my god! What if Varian finds out where I am?! God I have to get out of here!" I yelled as o got back onto one knee and tried pulling at the restraints again.

I kept pulling at the restraints and I watched as the orange slowly turned to red. I would've stopped, but where the cuff was connected to the floor was starting to come up. "Just a little more!" I said as I continued to pull. My eyes started to slowly roll back. "Keep it together!!! Just a little longer!" I said and before my eyes snapped to the back of my head Sunny jumped on top of me shoving me back onto my butt.

I tried to catch my breath as Sunny stared up at me. "I-I'm fine." I said softly. I carefully sat back up and Sunny made himself comfortable in his lap. I tried to pet him, but the moment I tried to raise my hand it only hit cold metal. I looked back down at Sunny to see him fast asleep. I sighed as I let my head roll back to look at the ceiling above me.
