"we came to see my uncle, and hawk came to introduce himself," tory smirked

"introduce himself?" celeste asked

"well yeah, you two are gonna date soon right?' tory asked

"well yeah, thats what hawk told me. what are you doing with mommy and daddy issues boy?" tory raised her eyebrow

"well i told you hes my friend." celeste asked, "and what did my dad say about hawk?" she asked them

"that im a respectful boy and he wishes the best for us." hawk smiled

"this is complete bullshit. hawk i told you that i dont want to date you multiple times. Tory why would you even bring him when you know i dont like him." celeste shook her head

"this was the plan celeste. hawk will treat you and protect you better than robby." tory told her, "i trust him."

" i dont need anyones protection. I can take care of my perfectly." celeste defended herself

"it doesnt matter if you can or cant celeste, trust me hawk is right for you. you dont have to love him, as long as people think youre with him they wont hurt you or do anything to you,"

"oh my god tory. its not going to happen again. i like robby. and you two need to respect that. just because you dont like him and have problems with him doesnt mean i do. for god's sake, hes your sensei's son." she told them angrily

"you know what celeste, i tried helping you. hes bad news. i tried to make it work for us," tory told her before she left. Hawk looked at her and shook his head before leaving with tory.

Great, now her cousin was mad at her. She hated when tory was mad at her but the least thing tory could do was support her own cousin.

Robby was upset he couldn't protect her. He was still learning, and they were stronger than him right now. He was also happy though, celeste liked him and chose him over what everyone called hot.

Maybe life wasnt all bad for him afterall, maybe he could change, maybe he would be proud of himself, maybe he could be happy.

"yeah dad, come in." she told him, her dad came in and sat on the edge of her bed

"we did too, we were bored without you." she laughed
