[42] WE FCKD SO WE ARE DATING NOW - April 3 2021

A/N : I will not be updating daily. I had already warned everyone about that a couple of stories back. I have a lesion on my eyelid that appeared from the evening of Mar 31 and I can't see properly due to constant watering and pain. It is getting worse by the day.  Besides, I feel like I have no good ideas to write a jikook story. I got a lot of messages in my inbox about the no updates, that's why I am writing this A/N. I know you guys have and are always ready to suggest ideas but that doesn't mean I know how to take the story to justify a good ending . Please understand. 🙏

Jimin and Jungkook are college buddies - they are not really close friends but are still in the same friend circle. 

"Can you believe my parents are looking for guys for me?" Jimin huffs as he talks to Taehyung, his best friend. 

"So Jimin will finally get laid huh?" Yoongi smirks from across the table 

"Yah! Min Yoongi!" Taehyung and Jimin scream, before they both laugh. They were definitely soulmates

Jungkook's grip on his phone tightened as he heard the entire conversation. He acted as if he didn't hear anything his friends said 

Jungkook sat drinking his entire beer bottle at the bar they were all hanging at 

"Jimin.. I'm leaving… I have to take my drunk babies home…should I drop you home along the way?" Taehyung asks Jimin  

"I'll take him home" Jungkook says coldly before Jimin could answer 

Taehyung nods his head before dragging his two drunk boyfriends along with him

Jimin gulps as he watches an angry Jungkook call for a cab. The ride to his apartment was quiet. Jimin couldn't understand Jungkook's irritable state

"Thank you for dropping…" Jimin stops when he sees Jungkook get out the cab and walk in front of him to his apartment building 

"Are you staying over?" Jimin asks confusedly as he opens his door. Jungkook has never stayed over at his place before 

Jungkook scoffs as he enters the apartment "...are you really gonna marry?!" 

Jimin was surprised at Jungkook's behavior 

"Y-Yes… what's wrong?"

"Why are you marrying someone you don't know huh?" Jungkook asks grabbing Jimin's wrist and pulling the boy towards him 

"What's your problem Jungkook?!" Jimin says trying to loosen Jungkook's grip on him

"Who is he huh!? Doesn't matter! You can't marry anyone!" Jungkook says as he tightens the grip on Jimin’s hands and brings the boy flat against his body 

"Why do you care who I marry?.. what is wrong with you today Jungkook?!" Jimin struggles once again making Jungkook angry

" I won't let you marry anyone!"  

Jimin's eyes widen "You…" 

Jungkook smashes his lips against Jimin's 

"Jungkook wait... stop…" Jimin struggles against the kiss

Jungkook pulls away and tears up as he cups Jimin's face ".... baby... please don't marry anyone else... please... be with me…" Jungkook kisses him softly as tears roll down his cheek and this time Jimin let's him and kisses him back. Eventually they both ended up in bed showing each other how much they loved the other 

Jimin has always liked Jungkook but  Jungkook was not interested in commitment according to well, everyone and Jungkook himself

The next morning, Jimin woke up with a huge smile and prepared breakfast for the both of them. He was just about to wake Jungkook up when he overhears the man talk on his phone 

"I made a mistake hyung!" Jungkook is upset "...I have to make this right! What happened last night was a mistake!I shouldn't have done that to him!" 

Jimin's heart breaks

"Jimin… we need to talk…" Jungkook says after he finishes his breakfast 

Jimin nods his head 

"Let's get married" 

Jimin's eyes widen 

"...we should get married. That's the right thing to do" 

"Because of last night?"

"Jimin…"

Jimin smiles sadly observing Jungkook's guilty face "Then we shouldn't commit another mistake by marrying each other…" Jimin says turning around "...please leave…"

Jungkook goes to visit Jimin in the evening to talk to the boy but instead he feels himself get jealous when he sees Jimin with another guy down his apartment complex. 

Jungkook goes to talk to Jimin's mom to let them date. She lived 2 hours away from where Jimin currently stayed. Jimin's mom agrees that if that's what her son wants then it was fine with her. Jungkook begs the mom to stop all proposals for now

Jimin was surprised when Jungkook was the next blind date set up by his mom. He goes through with the date as Jungkook had booked the restaurant and also paid for it 

The tiny boy couldn't help but fall for the man in front of him. The man was nothing like the Jungkook he knew, this man was attentive, caring and cute. 

Jimin agreed to dating the man after Jungkook begged him to give him a chance. Jungkook also promised that if after a few dates Jimin didn't want him then he would leave the boy alone. Soon Jimin saw another side to Jungkook he didn't know existed  that made him fall deeper for the man than he already has. 

Jungkook walked him to and fro from college. Took him out on cute dates like to a cat Cafe or dog shelter. Jungkook would often wrap the boy with his jacket if it got chilly outside. Jimin never bothered to carry his own jacket as it never matched the style he was going for. Jungkook would often be surprising him with cute things that according to Jungkook reminded the man of Jimin 

Jimin enjoyed Jungkook's attention to him. He enjoyed watching the man be overly protective and even jealous of his friendship with Taehyung. He loved Jungkook showing him his pouty face. He just enjoyed everything Jungkook had to offer

But Jimin has enough one day. He didn't wanna fall deeper for a man who was afraid of commitment. Jungkook and he has never talked about that night and they both didn't confess to each other yet

"Stop it Jungkook. You don't love me. I will only get hurt. Why are you doing this? We made a mistake right? leave it at that!" 

"You think it's a mistake? Jimin... I agree i'm not the commitment sort of a  guy.. you are  not the first person I slept with... then why didn't I feel a connection with them?... I agree we made a mistake…" Jimin tears up at that "...to jump into the physical aspect first... but I swear... that's what I needed to know that I love you... the thought of losing you to someone killed me Jimin... I love you... I want to be with you... I'm sorry if you don't feel the same...i'm not in this to hurt you... I genuinely love you... do you really feel I am lying about it? 

"I don't know anymore…" Jimin sighs

"Then give me a chance and find out…"

"I'm scared"

"Why?" Jungkook's gaze softens

"Because I love you and I don't want to lose you. Do you know how heartbreaking it was to hear you say that our most intimate moment of love was a mistake? It killed me Jungkook…." Jimin sobs

Jungkook hugs him "... I'm sorry I didn't mean it that way. It was all new to me. I never wanted us to start a relationship with sex … I felt like I used you… but that doesn't mean I regret making love to you… I wish we made love after establishing our relationship, you know?"

Jimin just nods his head 

"You trust me right?" Jungkook pulls away to look at the boy

Jimin nods his head again

"I love you Jimin" Jungkook cups the boy's face "...please trust me I'm in this for the long haul"

"I love you too Jungkook"
