Ginny
December 10th 1997
It felt like everything and nothing changed after that night.

They still met every night at the astronomy tower, both accepting their insomnia they developed together.

Besides that nearly everything else was different. Everything they'd been holding back saying was said, every knot seemed to unravel.

They admitted their feelings for eachother, obviously.

Most of the time they'd talk until they ran out of things to talk about then they'd just— lay there, silently enjoying each other's company.

They still argued often, though as much as they argued— they laughed. And sometimes, Ginny liked arguing. Amora had this special spark that broke out of her when she argued. A certain fire would light her tired eyes.

They never often needed to communicate after they argued, they always had a silent mutual way of communication only they could really understand. Ginny sometimes thought it was just the war making them so good at understanding the other.

Amora wasn't nosy, Ginny understood that now. She recognized it to be something to do with her life at home. One of those things that when Ginny asked about it she'd shut down, respond with some one sentence answer and change the subject. Ginny eventually decided to leave it, she would open up when she felt it was right. After all, Ginny knew what it was like to have a touchy subject.

Ginny wrote a lot more, though she only wrote in the same room as Amora. With Amora tears wouldn't prick in her eyes, she was able to write.

Ginny often looked back on the night Amora kissed her first, she often thought about how much had changed in such a sort amount of time. Before they'd met she was angry, all the time. Amora always seemed to balance her out. Amora always knew what to say and how to calm her down, even without saying anything at all. When Amora kissed her first all she could think was that It felt like it was always going to happen, that it should've been the plan all along. It was right.

She'd told Luna, who smiled and told her she was happy for her before continuing on about naragels stealing all the quills in every classroom.

For the first time in a long while, things felt okay.

Between December 9th and December 10th it had started snowing. Blizzards would be more accurate. Snow pelted down harshly on the roof, so much that Snape finally came out of his cave to announce that no student would be able to leave the building. Understandably, most students were upset by this. It wasn't like they could go outside much in the first place though now they could barely sneak out, highly complicated charms barricaded the perimeter, you weren't to leave unless you had a parent signature allowing you to exit.
