Zinnia stood back listening to the woman describe what happened to her boyfriend, trying to get more information so she could determine exactly what led the man to be in the hospital. "I-I don't know. He just froze for a second and then fell back and his eyes rolled backwards." She explained with concern lacing her voice as it shook.

Zinnia nodded as she stepped over in front of the man who looked confused and frightened. "Tyler, do you remember what happened? Can you tell me something that happened today?"

"Huh? Remember what?" He looked at her.

"Do you remember what happened about a hour ago?"

"No..."

"Okay," her attention turned back to the woman who still held a look of fear on her face "From what you've told me, he most likely had a seizure-"

"A seizure!? Oh my God is he okay!?" The woman's eyes bugged when she heard the word fall from Zinnias mouth.

Zinnia maintained her calm expression and said "Most likely, yes. Do you know if he's ever had a seizure before?"

"No.."

"Tyler, can you give me any details about your day?"

"Yea, Kayla and I went the mall." He blinked while looking at his girlfriend, Zinnias eyes floated towards Kayla for confirmation and she nodded her head.

"Do you remember the feel of a seizure coming? Maybe a little bit of jerking? Confusion?" He shook his head and did not remember the feeling of anything she named. "Okay stay put for me, I'm going to go find the doctor so he can do a more clear understanding."

They replied with 'okay' prompting Zinnia to do her signature smile before she turned and walked away. She did as she said she would and informed the doctor on the patient.

Just as she thought she caught a break another patient was being called to get checked out.

Once again Zinnia found herself working in the emergency area. Luckily today was her last day there before she went back to getting assigned patients that were staying in the hospital. That's what she preferred anyways. As a registered nurse she could do both but she could never see herself working in the emergency room full time.

She had coworkers that loved it rather than managing patients and she could never see how. She thought maybe because she was a more calm person. The emergency room always had a lot going on while managing patients was a calmer environment.

"Hey! Zinnia!"

Spinning around she came face to face with Trish, another nurse who worked in the hospital along with her. "What's up?"

Trish stepped closer while looking around causing Zinnias anxiety to creep up on her. "You and Aaliyah are close right?"

She immediately nodded her head, Zinnia and Aaliyah were friends beyond the hospital. "Yea of course. That's my girl." She said laughing a little.

Trish didn't laugh along, she cracked a small smiled then parted her lips. "Um, Aaliyah's crying in the locker room."

"What? Why? What happened?" She began to fire questions at Trish.

"We don't know. I thought maybe you could go see what was wrong.."

She frowned knowing she really couldn't "I wish I could but it's not my break time, and I just got assigned a patient."
