Jax's POV

I couldn't help but both glare and shrink back in my seat as Abbott stared at me. Her gaze switched back and forth between flirty and a death glare every few seconds as she went on teaching her lesson.

Her death glare was mostly reserved for Callum, who happily glared back her even when she wasn't looking at him. Any time she looked back over to me a smirk instantly washed over her face and her glare turned into warm eyes that somehow makes me feel more and more uncomfortable every time she looked back at me.

My heart leaped when the bell wrung. The second I heard the chime; I was already out of my chair and heading out the door with Callum hot on my heels.

"Jax," I heard Callum mumbled as he rushed to catch up but I was all but seething as I walked through the crowd. People cleared a path like they always did when I was pissed off.

"Jax," he said again, only a few inches away from my ear. I hadn't realized how close he had gotten or that we were tucked into an ally between two cabins.

"I can't do it," I seethe, my hands become fists as I looked out into the crowd of people who were going about their lives as if our English teacher wasn't a total creep.

"Can't do what," he asked from behind me. His lips were only a few inches away from my ear. His chest was pressed against my back like always while his arm was wrapped around my waist. I've come to learn that this was Callum's favorite way to stand near any of us.

"I can't keep going back to that class or I'll kill her."

"Have you asked Andrew about her, maybe there's another class you can take?" I only shook my head.

"Andrew said she's the only English teacher for our grade so we are stuck with her."

"Then we'll have to figure something else out because as much as I hate to say it, you can't just not go to class. Mary will have to send you to some other delinquent school if you don't."

My scowl deepens at the thought of just having to sit there for the rest of the year.

"I guess it's official then," I say as I lean away from Callum. "She's going to die," I was about to march off when Callum's arm tightens around me and pulls me back into his chest.

"You're not going to do it now are you?" he asked as his lips brushed against my neck. "Because you only have about five minutes until her next class walks in; that leaves you with five minutes to kill her, hide the body, and get to your next class so you'll have an alibi. I'm not sure that will be enough time."

I couldn't help but scowl at the fact that he had a point.

"I have a session with Andrew tonight, I'll nag on him to see if he can help us out at all," he reasoned before pulling my ear lobe into his mouth and sucking on it.

I tried to keep myself from reacting but it quickly became impossible when Callum's free hand began to move across my chest. My chest arched before I had a chance to stop it as my mouth fell open when Callum bit my lobe a little too hard.

"Is this going to become an every day thing now? You just grope me in between 1st and 2nd period from now on?"

"Well that depends," he said with a smirk as he pulled away from my ear. "Do you like it?" His hand plays with the hem of my shirt while his lips go back to playing with my neck.

I try to get away with a shrug but he doesn't take that as an answer. His kissing turns into gentle bites as his hand cautiously slips under my shirt.

"Fuck," I can't help but mumble as my back arches when Callum's hand flicks my nipple while he keeps up the assault on my neck.

"Should I take that as a yes?" I can tell his smirk has widened now but I wasn't going to let him win twice in a row.
