The time i got my first controversy- 😫

V-LIVE CONTROVERSY
(This happened was a while ago- just now posting it tho...😃)

It was fun and all shifting to my DR and stuff but its not when you get controversy. Like it's definitely not for me. Let me tell you what happened:

basically I shifted and I was on v-live talking to my fans. Since awards season is approaching I'm talking to my fans about how when we win an award that I'll make a speech calling out our haters...and I literally got bashed? I also was singing the American national Anthem, just to be funny not offensive or anything. It was small issue that was blown out of proportion..🧐

At the time of doing my vlive no one was commenting anything bad but it was only after I ended it people started saying stuff. When I ended the live I went to just chill at our company's lounge with my members and we eventually went to our dorm.🏡

Then all of sudden i start getting a couple of hate tweets talking about it but their all mainly in Korean. I'm confused but it was too many people so I just concluded it was just a bunch of haters per usual? I continue what I'm doing and go to sleep. 😭

I wake up to all my friends messaging me? Aishas telling me to wake up and stuff? And like I'm SO CONFUSED...even a little mad. I get my phone to see what's going on and People are talking about my v live, like Bruh everybody's making posts, tweets, blogs- all of it. Most of them weren't mad at me for the award show thing but for singing the national anthem, I mean I get it but damn? 🪵🦫

People were making posts telling me to go back to my country if I'm gonna sing their national anthem or how I'm profiting off of Korea while still liking America? Almost saying that If I'm gonna be working here then I was only for them?? please script something so this doesn't happen to you. I don't think they would genuinely act like this but sh!t? Cut me some slack! 🤧

As I see this I PANIC. I immediately go into chae (our leader's) room I wake her up and show her. I start sobbing because I'm lowkey scared. She calms me down and tells me it's gonna be fine. I literally didn't mean offend ANYONE. She's reading all the posts and stuff and she tells me she'll deal with it and talk to our boss. She walks my crying ass to my room and tells me just calm down and talk to Lucas. She leaves to go handle my business lmao😫

So I wipe my tears and message Lucas. I tell him what happened and he's like "I know baby, just get some rest for now💞" i answer back like "okay, can you come over?" or something simile? And I just turn on the tv to some kdramas as I wait for his response and he texts back and saying he can't yata yata? I tell him that I understand and that it's okay but In reality it was just another reason to be sad...I turn and just watch so kdramas😫 (this sounds- I swear I don't remember it being this depressing lmao)

After the whole depressed binge eating kdrama sesssion happened Chae comes back and tells me they will make a...shit what are those things called- 🧠🧐 apology, announcement idk and tell them my comment was never intended that way. They make the announcement and all of sudden some support comes in obviously on Twitter cause where else does that type of stuff happen?

everyone was talking about how they knew I would never do something like that yata...🙄😭 after that I've been kind of hesitant to post on social media but I eventually got over it. This is the past now! Moral of the story is don't sing. 😍😃

A/N: also this is last time you'll get a cute moment of me and Lucas. It gets a little crazy after this. This also honestly reminds me of how Sana from twice was talking about her home country once- 😟
