Lauren Diggory. Home life was rather hard living in her brothers shadow, but she found her place within...
"Why did nobody tell me this girl was unusually good with a bat!?" Angelina cried out as she entered the Room of Requirements with Lauren.
"Tryouts go well, eh?" Fred asked the girls.
"Sure did. Got ourselves two new beaters. One of which is in this very room." Alicia responded, nudging Lauren playfully.
"Oh really? And who may that be?" George asked, pretending to deep in thought.
Lauren stepped infront of Angelina, doing a dramatic spin as she exclaimed, "You're looking at her!"
"So you've finally accepted you're a natural at quidditch?" Fred asked teasingly.
"Must be those Diggory traits or something." Alicia said.
"Or something." Lauren laughed.
Harry and Ron then walked over to the group, and Ron asked, "What are you lot so excited about?"
"Ren's one of the new beaters on the quidditch team!" Angelina answered excitedly, practically bouncing up and down.
"You are?! Oh, that's amazing!" Harry gushed, as he pulled her into a hug.
"Thanks, Harold." Lauren laughed.
Their moment of congratulations was ended by Hermione, who was unaware of the situation, calling Harry over to start the meeting.
The DA had been meeting for a few months now, sneaking around and practicing right under Umbridge's nose, and everyone was making amazing progress.
This was their last meeting before the Christmas holidays, so they just had a day of review of spells and charms they'd already learned, before starting more advanced ones when they returned.
After about an hour or so of practicing in groups, pairs, and individually, Harry called an end to the meeting, and people grabbed their things to leave.
