Tony flew Chris to this restaurant place that Rhodey picked out. There was girls in bikini tops and loads of others in very minimal clothing

"You wouldn't think it is Christmas" Chris joked as Tony placed her down carefully before he landed and got out the suit

"Standby mode" Tony told JARVIS
"I know, it is a nice warm christmas" Tony laughed

"Too warm" Chris smiled as they went inside and saw Rhodey

"You're alive!" Rhodey said to Chris

"Surprisingly so" Chris giggled as she hugged him

"I love you" Loki said as his arms were wrapped around her

Chris stumbled back a little and took a deep breath
"Sorry, human interaction skills fell down" Chris lied. She saw there and looked through the menu as she though to herself
'So, we have Loki memories and those 4 month memories coming through my head at once... what is going on'

"Chrissy, what do you want? I'm paying" Tony told her

"Um... fries and chicken burger?" Chris shrugged as she looked through and saw nothing that exactly screamed that she wanted it

"Alright, I'll be back in a minute" Tony said as he got up to order

"Enjoying being back in America?" Rhodey asked

"Russia was more peaceful"

"How did you get out? When we found out, we tried our hardest to help" Rhodey asked her

"My boss is great and our agency is more global than yours, also not government property to just shut down" Chris answered as she took a sip of the water infront of her

"I would've never guessed you were an agent, what was it like being apart of the Avengers?"

"Annoying more than anything" Chris laughed as Tony came back with a waitress who had a tray of food

"Here you go, can I get anything else?"

"That is everything, thank you" Chris smiled as she took her food and started to eat it slowly as the two best friends started to talk on about Rhodeys new role as Iron Patriot

"It tested well with focus groups, alright?" Rhodey argued

"I am Iron Patriot" Tony said in a deep almost robotic voice causing Chrissy for laugh

"Listen, war machine sounded a little too aggressive. This sends a better message" Rhodey tried to explain

"Politcally yeah, realistically... it does suck" Chris butted in

"What's really going on?" Rhodey asked Tony

"The Mandarin. Seriously, can we talk about this guy?" Tony tried

"Its classified information Tony" Rhodey started

"Told you" Chris smirked

"There have been 9 bombings, the public only knows about 3..." Rhodey started. Chris zoned out as she continued to eat before she saw these two kids giggling and nervously edging towards them. Chris laughed as she waved to them

"She saw us" The young boy laughed

"You're gonna come at me like that?" Tony asked Rhodey as the two kids came over

"No I'm not trying to be a dick!... -tator" Rhodey yelled as he saw the kids

"Nice save" Chris laughed as she stole her brothers drink and took a sip

"Do you mind signing our drawings?" The girl asked as she handed some to Tony and one to Chrissy

"If Richard doesn't mind, are you alright with this... dick?" Tony smirked as he took the crayon from the girl and signed her drawing.
"What's your name?" Tony asked her

"Erin" She said and Chris handed Erin back her drawing with a small note and signature
"Thank you" She smiled at Chrissy

"I don't know what else you can tell him Rhodes... even we aren't allowed to join in" Chris said to him as she continued to eat before she saw Tony break the crayon
"Tony..."

"Are you okay?" Rhodey asked him

"Anthony?" Chris looked at him before she saw the familiar symptoms in him that she had experienced before

"Wait a minute, Tony!" Rhodey said as Tony slammed his hands down and ran out

"I'll pay in a minute" Chris told the staff as her and Rhodey ran out after Tony who was in his suit
"Move" Chris told some people as she and Rhodey knelt down infront of him and Rhodey knocked on the helmet

"Come on man, this isn't a good look. Open up!" Rhodey said

"Sorry, I got to split" Tony said as he pushed Rhodey and Chris back before he took off.

"I'll go get the check... mind giving me a lift home?" Chris asked Rhodey as she found her purse in her pocket

"Sure... has he been like that at home?"

"He isn't sleeping. I have only been home for 1 night but I can read him like a damn kids book... he just won't open upto me that much about it" Chris said as they went back inside as paid for the food and drinks.

"What caused it?"

"New York... he won't sleep because the anxiety of it is keeping him awake. He is... Rhodey, he died. I was sat there with Captain Rogers and Tony was dead infront of me until the Hulk physically scared him back to life..." Chris explained to Rhodey

"He never really mentioned that part"

"One minute he is fighting aliens, the next he is flying above my head with a missile then before I know it the portal closes and he fell down dead. He was more terrified because he has no speciality in it. Me, Tasha and Clint all at least are highly trained but Tony was literally there and I think it is just effecting him more recently" Chris said as she and Rhodey walked to his car and got in it

"Where did that missile strike come from?"

"The order given was by someone who controls the director... how much do you know about SHIELD?" Chris asked him

"Hardly anything, it is the most top secret organisation" Rhodey answered

"I'm a level 8, pushing level 9. I can access basically everything but some things Fury doesn't want me to see... the Avengers are considered level 6 or below besides me and Clint and those who aren't an actual agent... in the hierarchy we have Fury and Alexander Pierce as our standing directors. We then have something called the world council, they basically run the place from an outsiders view and give Fury most of the needed guidance to run our organisation. The founders were the first council really because they use to stay around for it and see over most missions, lab developments... Aunt Peg and dad were two of the three founders" Chris explained

"That is a lot to remember..." Rhodey stated

"I know, oh and congratulations on the promotion from lieutenant to Colonel" Chris smiled as he kept driving her home
