Ch. 46 "Teach"

                                         Sammie POV 

Me and Kai were walked in the middle of the woods, the leaves and twigs crunching under our feet, 

"Not that I don't mind getting out of the house but.." I said 

"Oh stop your complaining you know you love spending time with me," He said smirking 

I just rolled my eyes, 

"Don't kid yourself, " I said chuckling 

Since Kai has been helping me, we've grown rather close, he says that me and him are special that siphoning is nothing to be ashamed of, 

And he calls dad a knuckle head for not coming to him earlier, he tells me any further and I would have combusted, 

Whatever that means I thought as I rolled my eyes, 

"Alright here should be good," He said 

I looked around I knew exactly where we were, 

"Why are we where Klaus sacrificed Elena?" I asked 

"Because it has it's own magic source you feel it?" He said 

I sat down with my legs crossed my hands on the ground, 

Oh boy did I feel it I felt the magic flow through me, 

"Now just a few of these," Kai said putting a pile of leaves in a pile, 

He sat down on the ground next to me, 

"Okay so I'm going to teach you something simple," He said 

"Like what?" I asked 

"It's Easy, I'm going to teach you how to make the leaves float," He said 

"Float?" I said confused 

"Yup float," He said 

"Now watch closely," He said smirking at me, 

Kai hovers his hand over the leaves, while he closes his eyes, 

then both of his hands and the leaves started floating, all over the place 

"Whoa.." I said looking around, 

"Now you try," He said 

"How?" I said 

"You have to see it in your mind, and feel it, feel how light the air has to be in order for the leaves to float," Kai said taking my hand and placing it above the leaves, 

"Okay," I said letting out a breath, 

I closed my eyes and concentrated on what he told me, I felt the wind around us, 

"You can open them now," Kai said 

I opened my eyes looking around and the entire pile of leaves were surrounding us, 

"Cool!" I said standing up looking around in fascination 

                                   Kai POV 

I watched for the first time in a while Sammie light up, she lit up like a bright star, watching what she had accomplished today, 

She looked around at all the leaves floating around us, I couldn't help but smile at the sight, 

Sure I used to be a sociopath sure I murdered my family, but the more time I spend with Sammie the more I want to see her smile and feel more confident, 

Not how I found her, afraid to touch anyone, afraid of her siphoning abilities, 

I am going to show her this all the way to the end if I have to, I thought watching her touch one of the floating leaves,
