I turned in a slow movement to face a prince, unsure of which one I would get on the unlucky lottery that was my life.

Let's say I was strong on bad luck.

Because first came the golden prince of the Sun Empire, charming all the ladies with his trademark fake smile. He laid eyes on me and Jenni and turned his wheels to us, smiling even more. But he didn't come alone. Oh no, he didn't...

Beside him, was his aide and friend Karleston Frith, son of Baron Frith. With a blank expression like a stone sculpture and with tough blue eyes, he was the epitome of a serious aide as he passed the ladies with coldness.

I believed him to be more or less the same age as the prince, though there was no much information about him in the book, except some highlights over his dry personality. Still, right now he was on point with the book description of him. Smaller than the prince and yet able to shut people away with just one look.

Behind those two was the second reason for the girls' excitement. Prince Cedric with his aide Wolff, both hating the rabid attention from the ladies until they saw me and Jenni. Then, both their expressions softened, and Cedric let out a small smile.

My lucky ass got not one, but two crown princes! This was going to be the end of me...

"Miss Jennifer, I am glad to see you. Thank you for the letter." Said Prince Francis as he greeted Jenni with a kiss on her right hand. They looked lovely together.

I, however, turned at Jenni with a puzzling look. What is this about a letter?

My unsaid question was left unanswered and my puzzled look was interrupted by the sun prince, who turned to greet me. He took my hand with gentle care and a sly smile, as the true dangerous fox, he was.

"Glad to see you again, Miss Lulu." He whispered softly, so no one but those close by could hear, kissing my hand with a warm gentleness.

"Lulu? Is that a nickname?" Cedric came forward and he too whispered, curious about it.

Jenni gave a small laugh while agreeing to the moon prince question.

"How come I didn't know about such?" He asked with his head to the side as he took my hand to greet me.

Maybe because I didn't want to tell my nemesis the name my family and friends use for me! You fool!

"And why is that Prince Francis is aware of it and I am not?" Asked the moon prince after the light kiss on my hand, his expression with a hint of disappointment behind a mask of curiosity.

I didn't want that to happen either!!!

"Your highness is not nice to pressure a lady like that." Warned Wolff talking low and next to Cedric's ear. Then he gave me a toothy smile."I am sure Lady Lucreatia simply didn't have the opportunity to tell you before."

Great help Wolff.... now I would have to allow him to use it...

For the work of screwing me over, I gave my fakest smile to Wolff as an answer to his evilness.

"Don't take it the wrong way, Cedric." Said Prince Francis putting a hand on the shoulder of his fellow friend and prince. "Miss Jennifer happened to say it and I caught it. I was not worthy of receiving that information first hand." He gave a light nudge on Cedric's shoulder and had a hearty laugh.

A real laugh. Francis saw Cedric as a friend, which for a moment made me sad for their future.

"Then, can I call you Lulu?" The excitement on Cedric's face was too endearing to refuse.
