CHAPTER 15

Third Person's POV

It was a quiet afternoon at the cafe, since it's Sunday today, the cafe is vacant due to small amount of customers going in and out. The opening of their book cafe will be held next week, all things needed for the event were already prepared. Even the cafe construction just finished yesterday. Now, all of them were just sitting inside feeling bored.

Roseanne is staying a lot in her company, busy for her new business partnership with Chanyeol. The guy proposed a project, since Chanyeol wants to build his restaurant in Korea. Roseanne gladly took the offer, and was extremely happy since it's her college friend who's working with her.

The three ladies were stuck in the cafe, entertaining their every selves just wasting time. Until Chaeryeong heave a sighed, makes the two to look at her.

Chaeryeong lift her gaze as she felt someone staring at her, "What?" She mouthed as her gaze land to her best friend Yeji. Yeji just shake her head, "I'm bored ryeong" Yeji said. Chaeryeong groaned feeling the same.

Hyeri just chuckled in amusement as she eyed the two lady. "You don't have choice kids, you two still on your shift." Hyeri said as she check some of her emails. The two just slump down defeated.

There's a silence again, the soft melody that playing inside the cafe and a low tap from Hyeri's laptop was the only source of noise. Then unexpected visitors entered the cafe, all of their heads turned to the entrance.

Chaeryeong felt her throat dried and her breath hitched as soon as her gaze landed at the intruder.

"Hi guys!" Yuna shouted enthusiastically, with a grumpy Ryujin on her side who rolled her eyes because of what just her sister did.

"Oh, Ryujin and Yuna. Long time no see guys, how are you?" Hyeri greeted hugging the two sisters. The two just reciprocate it.

Pulling the hug, Yuna then tilted her head until her eyes landed to the girl at the counter. Yuna smiled, "hi, ryeong" Yuna greeted Chaeryeong, the girl seems still on her deep thoughts. So Yeji nudged her, Chaeryeong blink as she stared back at Yuna. "Hey" was the only word she said.

Yuna just smiled even wider.

"So what happened? Why the two of you here? I thought you're going to study abroad Yuna" Hyeri asked as she looking over to the anxious girl. Yuna cleared her throat as she smiled awkwardly, "Actually, we're just back yesterday from Barcelona. The two of us go there and I have a talked with Dad, shorting things out. Then I decided to just study here in Korea." Yuna said as her eyes pinned to the girl she's been longing.

Hyeri just smiled, "That's good though, there were still a lot of Universities here in Korea that offering the same course you want to study in Barcelona, Seoul was way more better Yuna" Hyeri said, Yuna just nodded her smile not leaving her face.

They fall in a comfortable silence, as Hyeri just eyeing the two girl stealing a glance with each other. She smirked knowingly, clearing her throat. "I'm gonna get something, I will leave you two for a while" Hyeri said as she stand up, making her way to the kitchen.

Chaeryeong just keeping her head low, afraid to face her ex lover. Yuna cleared her throat breaking the silence. "Hey, how are you?" Chaeryeong jolted a little not expecting the girl will spoke. "I -- I'm good, what about you?" Chaeryeong asked back. Yuna sighed, "I'm good to be back here, I'm glad to see you again" Yuna said, this time Chaeryeong look up, their eyes met. She can see the sincerity of the girl in front of her. Yuna's eyes speaking so much emotions, longing, sadness, regrets and love. Chaeryeong smiled, "It's good to know that" Chaeryeong replied as she look down again. Yuna then hold Chaeryeong's hand that resting on the table. "Are you glad that I'm back?" Yuna asked. Chaeryeong feels those butterflies on her stomach again, her heart quickening it's paced. She gulped, slowly closing her eyes. "Yeah, to be honest I'm glad that you're back" Yuna smiled widely this time as she squeeze Chaeryeong's hand.
