With the remainder of the food being finished off, (Y/n) thanked the waitress when she gave her the bill and took all of their plates and cutlery. Reaching into his pocket to pay for the bill, Tendou stared confused as to why it was empty. When (Y/n) noticed this, she smiled triumphantly before giggling to herself.
"Earlier, I took your wallet because I knew you were going to end up looking for it and try to buy whatever it was we were getting. Think of me paying for your meal as my first way to repay your kind actions from yesterday," she said, placing her own money and a tip for the waitress down onto the little tray in which held her bill.
Pouting, he crossed his arms, shaking his head in disapproval before pretending to act angrily towards the (h/c)-haired girl.
"But, (Y/n)-chan! I thought I told you it didn't matter to me if you paid me back," he stated, huffing as he sassily flipping his non-existent long hair to the side.
Copying his action, (Y/n) stated how she had already told him she would pay him back no matter what. As the two began walking out of the cafe, Tendou grabbed her hand and led her towards the subway station. When (Y/n) paid for the tickets, the taller boy pouted at her once more before they secured two seats on the subway.
"Where are we going, Tendou?" (Y/n) asked, staring out of the window that showed nothing but darkness.
"You'll see when we get there," he said, trying his best to get her interested in the place he desired to bestow upon her.
With her now waiting in anticipation, the subway train had finally gone up to the surface area, revealing an array of trees and greenery. Staring in awe, Tendou took a gander towards the girl, admiring her facial features, in his mind, unlike him, (Y/n) had the most beautiful facial features; the way in which her eyes suited the colour of her hair, and the way her hair perfectly framed her visage. With her eyes twinkling at the new scenery, Tendou smiled to himself, his eyes half-lidded as he did so.
(Y/n) truly was an interesting character, the way in which she acted upon her feelings was something he had never experienced or heard of. As he thought more and more about it, she resembled him in a sense, he would have to figure that out later but for now, he would continue trying his best to understand the girl by dissecting every little action she chose to make.
With her eyes now averted, she stared at Tendou, wondering what it was that could have distracted him from what was going on outside.
"Tendou, what are you doing? Look outside! It's gorgeous!" she said, pointing outside of the window.
"Ha, ha, I know it is! I've been here more than you have, remember? I was the one who brought you here, silly," he chuckled.
With her face now a crimson colour, she looked away in embarrassment before whispering, "Oh, yeah, whoop."
"It's alright~"
With the both of them now sitting in tranquil silence, the rest of the ride towards wherever Tendou was taking (Y/n) consisted of numerous scenarios where (Y/n) stared out the window while the redhead watched her.
When an announcement that stated where the next stop would be was declared throughout the entire subway train, Tendou got out of his seat, taking (Y/n) by the hand once more and heading towards the nearest door. By now, the majority of the previous passengers had left which meant this wasn't a popular stop to get off of.
Halting, the subway train had stopped, causing Tendou to lean slightly forward and then back to his original position. When the doors opened, Tendou marched out of the subway station, asking (Y/n) to keep her head down as they walked the busy streets of the town they were currently in.
After about an hour's worth of walking, Tendou told (Y/n) she could now look up. When she did, she frantically scanned the view.
"Whoa- they don't have anything like this in Canada," she stated, wandering around.
"Ha, ha, a view from a hill like this is only in Japan... I think... It's beautiful though! All of the cherry blossoms look amazing and from up here, all of the people look like tiny ants!"
"Ha, yeah!" (Y/n) replied.
As they both sat down on the green grass, Tendou pretended to make a snow angel in it.
Looking around, (Y/n) saw that all of the flowers that surrounded this area perfectly set the mood for having fun with friends. It just looked as though it would be a fun picnic area where groups of people could later play games when they were done eating.
Relaxing on the grass, with the two of them facing opposite of each other, Tendou got up and stretched, hearing his joints pop. As he now crouched down to look at (Y/n), she smiled at him, wondering what it could be that was currently on his mind. Extending his hand for her to grab, she took it. Helping her get back onto her feet, Tendou pulled her up, tumbling back a little as he did so.
The moment he cleared his throat confused (Y/n) the most. The smile he had before was now gone, and he held a serious expression. As she was about to ask him if he was alright or if she had done something to upset him, he spoke first.
"There's actually a reason I brought you here. Yesterday, your display shocked me. I am currently concerned for your wellbeing and mental health so I thought bringing you here would help you out."
"Oh, I mean, it is cheering me up," (Y/n) replied with a wary smile.
"That's not exactly what I was talking about. I want you to do something other than admiring the view," he elaborated.
"Really? What is it?" the girl asked, wondering what it could have been.
"Scream."
