"𝓗—aruto...It's really upsetting that I always find myself having to bicker with you." Kenma sighed into the phone as he timidly walked down Japan's busy street.
"I understand, but it's just-" The man gulped and Kenma silenced him.
Kenma had only requested one thing from the man. Which was that he bring in the necessary coding for an upcoming project last week. Do you want to know what the man did instead for the past seven days though? Kenma didn't know, but it surely wasn't what he had asked for.
"You were responsible for one thing... You're starting to become real bothersome you know." His voice was rather plain and held no real emotion.
Kenma went quiet for a while, trying to think about what would be a reasonable punishment for the man.
"Don't mess up anymore because I don't want to fire you, figure something out."
Before Haruto was able to respond Kenma hung up the phone and slipped it into his suit pocket. To be frank, Kenma was thinking about letting the man go for a while. But he was big on second chances and redemption so he tried to give him the benefit of the doubt.
