I could handle one person pouting around in the house. I couldn't handle two. I couldn't.

Tino had a cigar hanging from the corner of his lips, his hair in a messy bun as he folded clothes into Wura's suitcase with a bored expression on his face.

It still didn't make any sense to me. To let her go. We were going with her so, that clearly make things seem a little better but what if she realized that she was better staying with her overprotective crazy mother?

"Where's your night dress?" Tino grunted out, obviously mad. Wura who was vying for his attention stomped off to grab the nightdress from our closet, gripping the ends of her dress.

It was quite comical to watch. I laughed and zipped Tino's suitcase up before moving to pack my suitcase.

The brat handed the nightdress to Tino who took it out of her hand and continued to ignore her.

"Incoming" I sang when I noticed the tears welling in her eyes.

Tino sighed and took the cigar out of his mouth, putting it out in the ashtray before he sat down on the bed. He pulled her to sit on his lap and she easily made herself comfortable -it was all she was waiting for.

"What's the problem, Fiore? I thought you were mad at me?" She sniffled, shrugging and I laughed.

"Fiore...we're not sending you away. Okay? We just noticed that it's been a long time since you saw your mom" he kissed the side of her head and she turned to me, blinking daintily. I sighed, knowing that I couldn't handle her looking at me like that.

I wasn't as strong as Tino. I shoved my hands into the pockets of my sweatpants and walked towards her.

"I..." my voice shook with the fear I'd been hiding and I ran my thumb along her supple lips. She smiled and I nodded.

"Remember that I said I'm never letting you go, right?" She blinked, lashes fluttering like she didn't understand the slightest bit of what I said.

So pretty.

"Promise?" Tino chuckled and I did the same, kissing her lips to seal our 'promise'. I could taste the nutella off them -it was so addicting off her skin.

"Promise. Now, c'mon let's go watch that ridiculous cartoon you enjoy" she giggled and jumped into my arms, locking her legs around my waist. I laughed and held her tight, breathing in her scent.

Tino had his eyes on me even before I looked at him. My heart skipped a couple of beats at his flaming gaze. He stood up and I gulped, knowing that look.

"I love you" he whispered and I exhaled, feeling like I couldn't breathe. Wura turned to him and I could feel how her heart raced too.

"Both of you" he kissed my forehead and my eyes fluttered close. His lips lingered and I craned my neck, looking up at him and eager to taste his lips again. I could smell the nicotine and vanilla from his cigarette -I could almost taste it.

"And I'm sorry that I let things get out of hand" I stared at his lips and Wura giggled beautifully out of the blue. I stared at her, lucky enough to see such a miracle up close.

"Gianni is thinking dirty" my lips parted and I spun around, walking out of the room with a a sheepish looking angel and Tino laughing behind me.

My cheeks felt warm.

The next couple of days felt like a damn drag. I wasn't anticipating the thought of seeing the woman who locked our angel up or seeing the boy who sold her off.

But I brought a gun...just in case.

"Are you allowed to take that?" She whispered, lashes fluttering softly as she sat on the bed, kicking her legs back and forth while she fiddled with the loose strings at the end of her sweater.

"Someone looks pretty" I smiled, walking towards her. She giggled, looking down shyly. She was too adorable and in this moment...right now, I could see why her mother was so eager to hide her away because I wanted to do the same.

She was too precious for this world. It was in her eyes. Her lips. Her skin -How this world certainly wasn't her home. Maybe a higher heaven. I was convinced that we had stumbled upon an angel. We had.

She was wearing a white strapless dress that hugged her curves, falling all the way to her ankles and a baby blue knitted sweater paired with a pair of white sneakers.
It wasn't something that she would wear -it made her look a little more mature and so feminine, it was driving me wild.

"Tino said so too" she said, giggling and I chuckled just as Tino walked into the room in his signature outfit.

A white turtleneck sweater, a pair of black pants and a blue overcoat that matched the color of Wura's sweater to a T.

"Wait" I glanced down at myself and scoffed.

"Nice of you to not tell me the dress code" I glanced at Tino who chuckled. Just about to strip myself of the all black outfit I was wearing, her warm hand stopped me.

"You look perfect like that" I was awestruck like that. She was the only one who could make me like that.

Standing up, she moved close to me and nipped on her bottom lip. She stood on her toes, struggling to reach my ear and I smiled, leaning down. Her fingers ran along my chest and she fiddled with the chin dangling from my neck.

"Don't tell Tino...but you're sexier today" she pulled away and walked backwards towards Tino who narrowed his eyes at me. She smiled sweetly and I exhaled through my lips. Did she plan on making me feel like my heart was an air balloon for the rest of the day?

"Now, I'm curious to know what she said to make you so red" Tino smirked and slipped his hand around her waist, pulling her out of the room.

"Vin is driving us to the airport. C'mon"

*****
Please ignore any part you see 'Theo' instead of 'Tino'. I'm not over Theodore yet. I had to read all the chapters of this book to familiarize myself with the characters again so, I apologize for the late...upload?

I'll try to upload at least twice a week until we're done but I can't really promise.
Anyhoo!

Mama's back with ✨drama
Enjoy!
