13. Unexpected Guests

Fifth Year:

"I think you should go with them Ted. Your god father would like to see you there."

"Are you sure? I mean we already had a plan. I can stay with you."

Huh, ironic isn't it?

Teddy asked me to spent my holiday with him, and now he's making sure I won't spend it alone.

After my phone call with dad, I talked to Teddy.

I told him Potters and Weasleys are his family, and he shouldn't spend his christmas away from them.

In the end, he finally agreed and left.

I didn't see the others so I just ran into the 9¾ wall with my trolley to find dad.

I probably should have checked if anyone was in front of me before walking.

I accidently ran into a woman and we both fell.

"I'm so sorry." I got up and helped the woman up.

She looked familiar.

"Oh, no worries sweety." She cleaned her top with her hands "What's your name?"

"Lily, Lily Wood." She shook my hand and smiled.

"Oh, so you're that Lily. James' prank war partner?"

"That's... another way of saying it I guess?"

She smiled, I didn't want to be rude so I smiled back.

"I'm Ginny Potter. James' mother."

She has a beautiful face. Freckles, brown eyes and red hair.

Just like Luna's.

"Well, it's so nice to finally meet you Lily."

"You too, Mrs Potter. Have a nice day."

She waved and I left.

Dad was sitting on a bench next to the gift shop waiting for me.

I tapped his shoulder from behind, when he turned around his expression quickly changed.

"Elizabeth," he hugged me and I hugged him back.

"Dad, you know I don't use Elizabeth."

"I know. And I don't care."

"Ugh, I missed you so much!"

He carried my trunk as we walked towards the car.

"Where's mom?"

"Oh you know, work stuff. She will be back tonight."

Dad placed my trunk to the back as I sat on the passenger seat.

"So how was your days at Hogwarts?" He started the car.

"Same as usual. Lessons, exams, quidditch..."

"Pranks?" He had a smile on his face.

"Pff. Of course not."

"Mhmm. Is that why I kept getting letters from McGonagall?"

"What?! Not fair! She said she wouldn't tell you guys!"

"Your mom doesn't know about any of them yet. They are pretty funny letters actually."

I closed my eyes and leaned back on my seat.

"I kept them for you to see."

I looked up from my seat and saw my dad's confused face.
