After a big win at Watson's electric gym, our heroes get ready for Ash's next battle frontier fight tomorrow.

A rather large man with a tropical shirt, sun glasses, and fluffy brown hair approaches Ash.

"Heya! Are you Ash Ketchum?" He asked, Ash nodding, recognizing the man.

"Aren't you one of the directors of the Battle Frontier?" He asks, to which the man nods.

"That's right. My name is Scott and Roland and Greta told me about you. You're apparently a strong trainer."

The two shake hands and Scott says "I assume you'll be battling the battle dome brain Tucker, right?"

Ash nods and says "He specializes in double and triple battles. I heard if him."

Scott grins and says "I see you done your homework. That's great!"
The others approach the two and Scott introduces himself as the other four kids do so.

They all head to the battle dome, it was huge with many seats for people to watch.

Ash goes to the battlefield to meet Tucker.
The frontier brain sees him and jumps over to Ash.

"You must be a new challenger, Ash Ketchum! I am Tucker! Welcome to the Battle Dome! I heard of your victories against the Battle Factory and the Battle Arena!"

Ash blushes in modesty and nods.
Tucker grins and goes to his side of the field and shouts "This will be like Noland's rules at that time and we'll have triple battles with six pokemon!"

Ash nods and then Tucker says "I would've done double battles like I usually do, but I've grown a fascination with triple battles as well!"

Ash giggles and says "It's not a problem."
Tucker then sends out Metagross, Salamance, and Charizard while Ash sends out Grovyle, Combusken, and Marshtomp.

Then Tucker starts with Metagross going at Marshtomp with Meteor Mash, Salamence going after Combusken with Aerial Ace, and Charizard using Flamethrower at Grovyle.

However, they all use Protect and Double Team, leaving the three large pokemon unable to tell which was which.

Grovyle hits Bullet Seed in Salamence's underside hard, Combusken firing Flamethrower at Metagross, and Marshtomp letting out a Water Gun at Charizard.

The fully evolved pokemon falters a bit, in pain, but they go after the pokemon with a combination of Metagross' Iron Head, Salamence's Dragon Breath, and Charizard's Overheat.

The steel and psychic type was engulfed in the flames of the fire and dragon type moves while performing Iron Head, after Ash's three pokemon, but they all dodge with Grovyle and Combusken using Quick Attack, Grovyle carrying Marshtomp.

Marshtomp then uses Muddy Watter, Combusken uses Blaze Kick, and Grovyle using Leaf Blade for the first win.

Tucker recalls his pokemon, being out this time, Swampert, Arcanine, and Masquerain while Ash returns his three and let's Pikachu, Eevee, and Togetic on the field.

Tucker's Swampert goes for Mud Bomb at Pikachu, Arcanine uses Extreme Speed at Eevee, and Masquerain uses Air Slash towards Togetic, but they all dodge.

Togetic Magical Leaf at Swampert, Eevee uses Sizzly Slide at Masquerain, and Pikachu uses Surf at them all, mainly after Arcanine.

Luckily, Togetic and Eevee dodged the Surf, unharmed from the water type attack.

Ash's pokemon make a grand finale with Pikachu's Volt Tackle, being surrounded by Air Cutters and Trump Cards, hitting Masquerain and Arcanine hard, the collision also hitting Swampert, mostly from Trump Card and Air Cutter.

The dust settled, Ash's pokemon standing victorious.
The crowd cheers for Ash, Tucker shocked, but smiles, returning his pokemon and approaches Ash, patting his head.

"I must say. You're more impressive in person than from television. It was an honor." Tucker said, then shaking Ash's hand.

"Hey, where's Ash's symbol?" Max asked, Tucker chuckles and says "Check your hat."

Ash takes it off, the Tactics Symbol on it, taking the small item, nodding politely.

Molly goes to Ash and hugs him, Ash hugging back.
The gang were now on their way to Fallarbor Town for May's next pokemon contest and Ash's next Battle Frontier symbol.

As the journey continues.
