"excuse me, can i see that magazine after you?" the guy next to you asked.

you turned your head a bit to look over at him. "yea, sure," you smiled and looked back at the magazine. you read through the last few pages before closing the magazine. "here."

"thanks," the guy said as you handed him the magazine. "you're getting your hair dyed too?"

"mhm, i decided it was time for a change," you answered him. "what about you?"

"i'm just dying it back to my original hair color. my promotions are over and i like my hair black," he answered.

"promotions? you sound like an idol," you said to him while taking your phone out from your bag.

"cause i am an idol?" the guy said and you looked at him. "what. it's true."

"wait, for real? you're not joking?"

"i'm in a group called nct. ever heard of them?" the guy asked you.

"nct? the group with a lot of people, right?" you asked and he nodded. "woah, i met an idol."

he chuckled, "my name is doyoung. i'm one of the main singers in nct," he introduced himself.

"my name is y/n," you introduced yourself.

"what do you do for a living?" he asked.

"me? oh, i work in a research lab," you mentioned.

"a research lab? really?" doyoung asked and put the magazine done.

you slightly nodded, "mhm, i just published something actually. i've gotten a lot of my plate recently since i've been overworking."

"congratulations."

"thank you," you said and smiled at him.

one of the hairdressers came up to you, "miss y/n, it's time to wash your hair," she said to you.

"okay," you nodded and stood up. "see you around," you waved at doyoung.

"see ya," doyoung smiled and waved.

you were directed to one of the areas where the hairdresser would wash your hair. your hair was then washed and you went brought to a chair. a few inches of your hair were cut off before the hairdresser dried your hair.

"could you curl my hair for me?" you asked the hairdresser.

"yes, of course," the hairdresser said to you with a smile. she turned on one of the tools near her and brushed your hair. then, she started curling your hair for you. after a few minutes, she was done curling your hair and brushed out the curls so they were looser. "alrighty, we're done," she said to you.

"thank you so much," you said to her and stood up once she took the cape off.

you went up to the counter and paid for everything that was done to your hair. then, you walked out of the salon and took your phone out.

you walked for a but then stood by a wall while looking up nct on social media. you found doyoung's instagram and looked through his many posts. you followed him and sent a message.

you put your phone away and walked down the street. you saw your car and grabbed your keys from your purse and unlocked your car. you got in and put your purse on the floor in front of the passenger seat.

then, you put your seatbelt on and started up your car. you took your phone out and connected it to the sound system. music started playing and you changed the song a few times.

suddenly, a notification from instagram appeared and you saw that it was a text from doyoung. you clicked on the notification and it brought you into the app.
