Loud sound from different machines, little murmur fom people. All she can hear are different noises around her.
She slowly opened her eyes to know what's going on. Miracle adjusted herself to the light that embraced her sight.
Nag-angat agad ng tingin si Trigger nang makaramdam ng kakaiba. Lumingon siya sa mag-asawa na nasa tabi niya na abala sa pag-uusap. Sunod naman niyang nilingon si Enica at ang ilang miyembro ng grupo pero wala siyang ibang napansin.
He turned his gaze to his wife's direction. Agad na nanlaki ang mga mata niya nang makita ang dahan-dahang pagmulat ng mga mata nito.
Trigger quickly stood up from his seat as he approach her. Lumipat ang mga mata ng babae sa kaniya.
Excitement filled up his body when he met her beautiful eyes.
"Miracle, you're a-awake," he whispered while holding her hand.
Mabilis namang napakislot ang mga tao sa loob ng kwartong 'yon. They all look shocked as they witness how Miracle woke up.
"Hey, baby. Can you h-hear me?" nag-aalala niyang tanong rito nang mapansing nakatitig lang ito sa mukha niya.
Miracle blinked. Halatang halata ang pagkalito sa mukha nito.
"W-Who are you?"
Sunod sunod na napasinghap ang mga tao sa loob ng kwarto na 'yon nang marinig ang sinabi nito.
Trigger can feel the pain when he realized that his wife doesn't remember him.
But it's a relief also.
Pumasok ang doktora sa silid at mabilis na lumapit sa pwesto ni Miracle. Haley smiled sweetly when she saw that she's finally awake.
"Oh gosh, Miracle. I can't b-believe this. You're r-really awake!" naiiyak nitong saad bago yakapin nang marahan ang babae.
Miracle's eyes wandered around the whole room. Confusion is all over her eyes.
Mabilis namang hinawakan ni Trigger ang kamay ng asawa. "Hey, I know you're confused right now. But don't force yourself to remember what happened, okay?"
Naiiyak na umiling ang babae. Pilit itong umupo sa kinahihigaan kaya mabilis naman siyang inalalayan ng lalaki.
"I don't k-know what's happening. P-Please tell me. I don't r-remember anything. N-Natatakot ako, h-hindi ko rin kilala ang sarili k-ko," umiiyak na saad nito habang palipat-lipat ang tingin sa kanilang lahat.
Her hands are trembling. She looks terrified and confused.
Trigger hugged her immediately. "Hush, calm down, calm down. It's okay, I'm here. Calm down, baby."
Her breathe became tense, but few seconds later, she finally decided to calm down with Trigger's help.
Nang maramdaman ng lalaki ang pagkalma ng asawa ay agad niya itong hinarap.
"You don't remember anything?"
She shook her head.
He smiled sweetly. "It's okay, baby. It's okay. Don't force yourself because it might harm you. You just woke up from a five-year comatose."
Her eyes widened with what he said.
"W-Wait. F-Five years? Bakit a-ako nandito? Anong nangyari s-sa akin?" she asked.
Trigger's eyes focused on her face. It feels so good to see her wife's face again. It feels so good to be with her.
Hindi siya nito sinigawan at sinumbatan. Hindi siya nito kinamumuhian. It's because she can't remember anything.
He faked a cough.
He'll never allow his wife to gain her memories back. If he needs to lie, he'll fucking do it.
"We were on a trip together when we encountered an accident. Ikaw ang napuruhan sa aksidente na 'yon. The doctors said that there's an internal bleeding inside your head and I was so afraid that you might forget about me. And I am ready if ever that happens. I wasn't m-mistaken at all," he lied.
Miracle's eyes watered. "W-Why are together back then? Who a-are you? And who I am?"
Lumingon ang lalaki sa dalawang mag-asawa na nakatitig lamang sa asawa niya.
Muli niyang binalik ang tingin dito. "I am your husband, Trigger Knights. And you are Miracle Heaven Fortalejo-Knights."
Her eyes widened when she heard that. Malamang ay nagulat ito nang malaman na asawa niya ang kaharap.
She raised her hand before caressing his cheek. Trigger smiled sweetly as he held her soft hand on her cheek.
"You're m-my husband?"
He nodded his head. "Yes, baby."
"And w-who are they?" Nilibot nito ang tingin sa buong paligid.
"That's Enica and your friends. You met them back in college," he lied once again as he introduce his members along with one woman.
Sunod sunod namang lumapit ang dalaga kasama ang isang babae at dalawang lalaki na kung kumilos ay para ding babae.
"Hi, Miracle. I'm Enica!" Enica introduced herself before hugging his wife.
Kahit naguguluhan ay yumakap pa rin pabalik ang babae rito. "H-Hi."
Sunod na lumapit ang isa pang babae. Naiiyak na hinalikan nito sa pisngi si Miracle. "Hi, Miracle. I am Shanelle. We used to be best friends back then. I hope we can make new memories together," umiiyak nitong saad.
Matamis na nginitian ni Miracle ang babae bago punasan ang luha nito. "I want to make new memories with you also, p-please don't cry. It makes me feel b-bad," she whispered.
Trigger smiled with that. Napakalambot pa rin talaga ng puso ng asawa niya.
Lumipat ang tingin niya sa dalawang bakla na ngayon ay kumekembot para lang magpaunahan kung sinong magpapakilala. He threw death glares over their direction. Warning them not to hug his wife.
It was Jelo who introduced himself first. "Hello, Heavenly Miracle! I am the most beautiful person alive."
"No, baby, it's me. My name's Jela. And yeah, we're twins. But you can see the difference, right? Mas maganda ako ss shokoy na 'to."
Trigger massaged his forehead with these gays silliness. Hanggang ngayon ay hindi niya alam kung paano niya naging miyembro ang mga 'to. If not only because of their fighting skills, he might slap their faces because of their silliness.
Inangat niya ang tingin nang marinig ang tumatawang asawa. She looks amazed with Jelo and Jela.
"Hi, you guys are s-so cute."
Haley caress Miracle's hair. "Hi, I am your personal doctor. I was the one who took care of you while you're in coma."
Her eyes watered. "T-Thank you. You're such a lovely person!" she uttered.
Sunod na lumipat ang tingin ng babae sa dalawang mag-asawa na nasa gilid ng kama. "S-Sino sila?" tanong niya sa lalaki.
Trigger looked at Benedict and Olivia's direction. He turned his gaze at Miracle again. "They are your..." He stopped talking for a second, hesitating to answer.
"My?" naguguluhang tanong ng asawa.
"Your p-parents," he answered.
Miracle's eyes gazed at the couple's direction. Lumapit ang mga ito sa kaniya bago siya yakapin nang marahan.
"Hi, my sweet daughter. I'm y-your mother, I am Olivia," the woman said.
"I'm your father, Miracle. I am Benedict," pakilala naman ng lalaki at bahagya pang nginitian ang kaharap.
She flashed a sweet smile. "I'm sorry if I c-can't remember anything from the past. But I'll try. Nangangako po ako, I'll try to r-remember everything para hindi na po kayo mag-alala sa akin," umiiyak niyang saad.
Trigger held his wife's hand. "Baby, don't force yourself, please. It's fine for us if you won't be able to remember anything. As long as you're in good condition, everything will be fine."
