kairi: go go go!
in the middle of the run, it started raining, it was night time so it made it even colder. we got home and immediately went to the bathroom, though we both went in and looked at each other
eli: oh- sorry you can go in first!
kairi: uh no! you can go first!
eli: no it's fine, I insist!
kairi: w-well.. I demand you go take a shower first!
eli: I declare you go shower first!
kairi: I order you to go shower first!
eli: I want you...
kairi: ...
eli: to go take a shower first
he turned red and pushed me out of the bathroom, slamming the door and locking it
eli: that's right, peasant! listen to my orders!
kairi: just shut up!
I sat in the living room watching some videos on my phone. these past two weeks I hadn't been thinking about dylan, at all. I kinda of didn't even remember what happened that night at the party. now that i'm thinking about it, it doesn't give me the urge to cry anymore. sure, I do miss the things him and I used to do, but that's obviously going to take time to forget. I sometimes see him out patrolling with kirishima, but I never get around to giving it much attention. I heard kairi walk out of the bathroom and into his bedroom, so I got up and took a quick shower. then changed into some spandex and a t-shirt.
eli: goodnight, kai!
I shouted from the hall
kairi: goodnight!
I climbed into bed, covering my entire body with the blanket. the soft comforter giving immediate warmth. the stress of the day, particularly the run in the rain, had worn me out. I drifted off to sleep, relieved that in a way, I had finally come to peace with the break up.
I woke up around 10 to the sound of kairi singing. I rolled out of bed and got changed. he looked at me and danced his way over to me
kairi: oh baby maybe if weeeee! tried that we could beeeee! somewhere in the climate is warm, long as you around me! I swear that everything will be just fine!
I laughed and he grabbed my chin, making me look up at him, he smirked
kairi: I wish that we could take some time, go anywhere baby I don't mind!
he spun me around
kairi: grown man in my suit and tie
he dipped me, our faces inches away
kairi: hey there's no we without you and I
I put my hand on his chest and chuckled
eli: are we about to kiss right now?
kairi: I think that's what's supposed to happen, right, author?

eli: my back is starting to hurt
eli shut up
eli: I-

kairi smiled and leaned in, then there was a knock on the door. we both sighed, frustrated. kairi rolled his eyes and stood me up. I walked over and opened the door
guy: pizza delivery for uhh.. gerald?
eli: next FUCKING DOOR!
guy: it's says 14 though
eli: THIS IS 13
he looked over at my door number
