"It's important."

Asahi looked at him with his brow raised. Jaehyuk tried to give himself a reason to tell him though every thought in his head gave him reasons not to. His mind went through all of the things that might happen and he was terrified of all the possibilities. But he felt like he had to say it sooner or later. He wanted to know if he even had a chance with Asahi. He didn't want to constantly think about it and torture himself.

"Why do you look nervous, is it that serious?" Asahi asked as he put his cigarette out. Jaehyuk closed his eyes and took in a deep breath when Asahi looked away for a second.

"Well actually...it is serious." He said as he looked down. Asahi's brows slightly furrowed.

"What is it?" He asked, already tense.

"You're a really good friend but..." Jaehyuk muttered, not being able to look Asahi in the eye, he knew if he did he would chicken out and end up not saying anything . Asahi froze, what did he do? He looked through all of his past actions in his head like a huge room with too many files. His heart sank.

"But what?" He asked, a little hurry in his voice. Jaehyuk could tell Asahi was already annoyed at him. Asahi felt disappointment dawn on him. Jaehyuk didn't want to be his friend anymore. He looked down, looking at his fidgeting fingers.

"Listen...I wanted to tell you this for a really long time." Jaehyuk said, he just wanted to get it over with. The words coming out of his mouth were hesitant and unsure, unlike what he was feeling for Asahi. He was confident that what he felt for him was real. But he wasn't sure if Asahi felt the same way anyway. He couldn't keep torturing himself with the fantasies, he had to know.

"I really ....and I mean really l-" he said after realising he hasn't said anything in a while. Asahi picked at his lips, not knowing how to deal with his heavy heart. Before Jaehyuk can spill his feelings out, the door suddenly opened, putting his sentence to a stop .
