Chapter 41

Danielle's POV

"How did you even have time for all of this" Stefania asked "As soon as you left I took a test and it popped up positive and I almost had a heart attack right there and then and I thought it was a false positive to be honest so I took the other two and they both said positive also" I explained "so I called Dr Herman and explained to her and asked if I can come in for an ultrasound and she said yes so I quickly went in got the ultrasound done and then came home this onesie i had already for when we eventually found out and I could tell you" I said. "I am 6 weeks pregnant due in April next year" I said "Could you hear the heartbeat yet" she asked "I asked her not to turn the sound on because I wanted to hear it with you for the first time but there is a heart beat" I confirmed "Okay so when is the next appointment then" she asked "We have one in 2 weeks time so when I'm 8 weeks and we can go together, once I hit 12 weeks we stop going to the clinic and we go to the ob" I explained "Okay wow I can't believe we are going to have a baby" she said "I know are you happy" I asked "so happy you have no idea" she said grabbing my face in her hands and landing a kiss on my lips. "Oh my" she said as she pulled away "What is it" I asked confused  "You can't drink at the wedding or the honeymoon" she said "I know but that doesn't matter because I'm carrying our child" she said "I'm going to have to buy a dress that will stretch with me though because I'm going to be like 18 weeks pregnant if everything goes smoothly" I said "Very true I'm so excited wow I love you so much you know" she said kissing me again "I love you so much aswell" I said.

Stefania's POV

"What did Krista want" Danielle asked as she sat at the bench and I cooked us dinner "Oh it wasn't anything bad she just wanted to let me know I'm not going to be on station 19 set as much the next few weeks" I said "what do you mean" she asked "Well apparently Jo, Camilla's Character is switching to OB so Carina will be her mentor so I'll be at grey's instead" I explained "Oh right and that couldn't wait until tomorrow" Danielle asked "I start shooting on Grey's tomorrow as well as station 19 and I guess she just wanted me to know before I headed in tomorrow, I will still be shooting scenes with you but like only a small amount like before I became a series regular" I said "she could of told you that over the phone though" she said "what else did she say Stefania" she asked "nothing else Danielle" I shot back "Then why did that small conversation take an hour doesn't make much sense" she scoffed "What else did she say" Danielle asked. "The guy I punched at the bar he um he requested a meeting with her and said that he wants me fired from the show" I said now avoiding eye contact with Danielle "That was like months ago are you serious" Danielle asked "yeah, I was going to tell you but then you told me we are having a baby and I didn't want to ruin the moment by bringing something back up that has caused issues in the past" I admitted "So what did Krista say" she asked "I have to apologise to him but she isn't going to fire me or anything he just wants an apology" I said "Are you going to apologise" she asked "I don't want to at all but if I don't he could take it to the media and it looks bad so I'm going to" I said.

Danielle's POV

"When are you going to tell your family we are expecting" Stefania asked as we got into bed "Um I was thinking when I'm further along maybe around the 12 week mark" I said "so we can go for dinner with my family and tell them and then I guess we can just call your dad and that and tell them over the phone" I asked "yeah that's fine" I said "As for friends and the rest of our families I was thinking at the wedding we announce it" I said "The wedding" she questioned "Yeah I mean I want to tell Jaina, Barrett and Jay before hand obviously and we will have to let Krista know because they are going to have to sort something out with Maya" I said "whatever you want bambina" she said "So we will tell my family and your family, Jaina, Barrett and Jay then let Krista know but everyone else finds out at the wedding" I doubled checked "Yeah if that's okay with you" I said "That's fine, you are going to be showing a bit before the wedding though" she said "It's fine I will wear baggy clothes I will only have to hide the small bump for like 2 weeks" I said. "Do you want to find out what we are having" I asked "I like surprises, but if you want to know we can find out" she said "no I don't want to know I want to wait" I said "okay then we will wait" she said. "Danielle are you okay" I heard Stefania call out from the bed as I was hunched over the toilet throwing up "Morning sickness baby, I'm okay go back to sleep" I said "What do you need bambina" she asked as she appeared in the door way of the bathroom "Water please" I said "Okay I will be right back" she said as she walked out of the bathroom. "Here Bella I got you a cloth for your head aswell" she said handing me a bottle of water and the cloth "Thank you" I said "It's okay do you want me to stay" she asked "no I feel better I'm going to come back to bed for now" I said standing up and walking back into the bedroom. "What time do you have to be on set" I asked as we got back into bed "7 what about you" she said "7 aswell" I said before leaning on her chest and wrapping my arms around her.

Stefania's POV

"Are you going to be okay going to work" I asked as we got dressed for the day "Yeah I'll be fine" she said "you didn't sleep much last night Bambina you were up throwing up all night" I said "I know I was but I can't have everyday off work and this is going to happen for the next few weeks so just leave me alone" she snapped "I'm sorry I didn't mean that I'm just tired and super hormonal and my boobs are so sore" she said "I know it's okay" I confirmed "What do you want for breakfast" I asked "I can't eat right now but I will eat later I promise" she said "I will come to station 19 set for lunch so we can eat together okay" I said "okay we should get going" I said "mhm I need to grab my spare tooth brush if I am going to be throwing up all morning because you don't want to kiss me with that" she said laughing "no I definitely don't" I said. "Danielle did you sleep at all last night" the make up artist asked as we walked into the trailer "no not really" Danielle said "Stefania what did I tell you about keeping her up all night" she said laughing "hey stop that" I said as everyone started laughing. "Okay I have to go to Grey's I will be back over for lunch and I'm shooting here this afternoon" I said as we walked towards her trailer "okay" she replied "okay text me if you need anything, I love you" I said pressing a kiss to her lips "this is not because you kissed me I promise" she said and I just looked at her with a confused look before she turned around and threw up in the trash can behind her "You okay" I said rubbing my hand up and down her back "I'm good go go I will see you later" she said going in for a kiss before stopping herself  "Actually probably not very wise you are going to have to settle for a hug" she said with a chuckle before pulling me in for a hug.

Danielle's POV

"Are you ready to go baby" I asked Stefania as I walked into her trailer "si I am ready" she said taking ahold of my hand as we walked from the trailer to her car. "Are you nervous" She asked as we drove to the clinic for our 8 week scan "A little bit but more excited" I replied. "How about you" I asked "excited to see our little bambina or bambino" she said. "Okay Danielle, Stefania are you ready" Dr Herman asked as we walked into the consultation room "we are" I replied getting onto the bed and lifting my shirt up "this is going to be a little cold" the doctor said as she squeezed some gel onto my abdomen before putting the wand on top and moving it around. "I love you" Stefania whispered into my ear as she took ahold of my hand and pressed a kiss on my forehead. "Are you ready to hear your bubba's heart beat" Dr Herman asked and we both just smiled and nodded before she switched the ultrasound to noise finding the heart beat straight away "Good, very strong heart beat" she said "that's our baby's heartbeat" I said in awe as tears dropped down my face "oh bambina" Stefania said cupping my face in her hands "This just made it more real somehow I can't believe we are going to actually have a baby" I said "I know" Stefania said pressing a kiss to my lips. "Okay so you will come back to me at your 12 weeks scan and then after that you will go to an Ob at a hospital okay, once you choose where and who I will send all your records over" Dr Herman said "I will see you both in 4 weeks time" she added before leaving the room.

Stefania'a POV

"Danielle do you want sometime to eat" I said as I walked back into our bedroom "Danielle" I questioned when I couldn't see my fiancé "in here" she said from the bathroom "Sick again" I questioned "getting more and more sick everyday" she responded "it's not going to last forever bambina hopefully it will ease up soon" I said trying to be positive "I have the tiniest little bump" she said with a smile "oh yeah show me" I said holding my hand out to help her up. "Wow and I didn't think you could look more beautiful" I gasped as she lifted up her top to show her tiny bump "I'm only 10 weeks and already have a bump how are we going to hide this for 8 more weeks" she asked "we don't have to hide it, if you change your mind we can just tell people before the wedding" I said "we will just decide as we go okay" she said "What time do you have to be on set" she asked "not till 11, how about you" I said "11 also so I'm going to brush my teeth and then I need sex" she said blatantly walking over and grabbing her toothbrush "you need sex" I asked laughing she just nodded her head as she quickly brushed her teeth. "I think you should eat bambina" I said as she spat out her toothpaste and rinsed her mouth "I plan on eating" she replied with a smirk as she looked me up and down and pulled her bottom lip between her teeth "Real food" I said "We can go to breakfast before we go to set but first I need sex" she stated as she walked painfully slow towards me "Whatever you need" I said grabbing her waist and smashing our lips together in an aggressive kiss before spinning around and gently pinning her against the wall "why so gentle" she asked before moving her kisses down to my neck "I'm not slamming you up against a wall like I used to when you are pregnant with our child" I said laughing.
