3rd Person POV
"How do you feel, soldier?" Marvin asks, standing next Willow's medical bed in the DEO
Willow's hand rests over her aching chest. "Like someone filled my chest with cement." Willow groans with a slight cough
"Here." Marvin tells her, holding a cup of water out and lifting her head slightly
Willow takes a sip of water before pulling away and resting her head again, closing her eyes as her head softly hits the pillow. "Can I get a report, sir?" She asks weakly
"Yes, soldier." Marvin tells her. "You took ill in your apartment where you began violently coughing green kryptonetic vapor." He explains and Willow opens her eyes to look at him. "You had a seizure and stopped breathing for a little but Alex Danvers and other DEO agents brought you here to stabilize you."
"Wow..." Willow breathes. She looks around as if realizing. "Wait, I'm in the DEO."
"Very perceptive." Marvin says sarcastically
"Does J'onn know I'm here?" Willow asks, her voice raspy. "Is he gonna yell at me again?"
"He knows you're here." Marvin tells her. "He's okay with both of us being here right now."
"You told them you're my father." Willow says. "You lied to them."
"How do you know I'm not your father?" Marvin asks
"Not possible." Willow says, pulling her blanket up and over her head and closing her eyes. "You're an asshole." Her muffled voice says from under the blanket to which Marvin lets out a small laugh
....previously....
"Her breathing is normal." Alex says with a sigh of relief, pulling her stethoscope away. An agent starts to take the oxygen mask off of Willow
The door bursts open and in runs Marvin
"Who the hell are you?" J'onn asks, standing in the way of a frantic Marvin
"Is she okay?" Marvin asks the doctors around, his eyes landing on Alex
"Who are you?" J'onn asks again
"Is she okay?!" Marvin presses
"She's breathing regularly." Alex tells him
"Oh thank god." Marvin sighs in relief, sitting on a chair and putting a hand over his chest. He looks at J'onn. "I'm her father."
One DEO doctor stays in the room with Willow as the rest pile out. She was now stable but still unconscious and in need of supervision
"What do you mean you're her father?" Alex questions Marvin, walking over to him
"That was a pretty understandable statement." Marvin tells her, standing up and J'onn crosses his arms next to Marvin
"Willow said...she said she was in foster care." Alex says, crossing her arms as well
"Emphasis on the 'was'." Marvin says. "She aged out before I could adopt her but legally I'm her guardian."
"Why now?" J'onn asks
"Excuse me?" Marvin questions
"This girl has been a pain in my ass all year." J'onn says. "Why show up to us now?"
"Don't talk about Willow like that." Marvin snaps at J'onn. "And to answer your question: Willow was always supposed to be unseen and with her, me."
