(37) Mission

Valentina's POV:

I walk inside my house after Micheal dropped me. I was actually tired so I decided to straight away walk up to my room.

"How was the sleepover?", Matteo asked

I turn and saw him watching tv and smiling at me.

"Good. Really good. Very informative", I smile muttering the last part to myself

"Had fun?", Matteo grinned

"Oh yeah. Also, when are you taking Mady out?", I ask smirking

He looked surprised and then blushed a bit.

"Whenever she replies", Matteo muttered clearing his throat.

"Hmm I'm sure she'll reply soon. Infact I know what she's going to tell you", I smirk

"Really? What?", Matteo immediately sat up and asked me frantically

"She'll tell you", I smile and start walking upstairs.

"Oh come on tell me!", Matteo whines

"Nuh uh. Patience lover boy", I yell as I reach the first floor so he can hear me.

I walked towards my room chuckling. I enter my room and put my stuff away and plop down.

What is this mission Mady has to finish for her father?

"Forget it Val. Stop thinking about this now", I whisper to myself

Suddenly my door opens with a bang and there enter my twin brothers, walking like they own the place.

"Ever heard of the term knocking?", I ask with raised eyebrows.

"Yeah", Xander shrugs

Those two plop down next to me on either side.

"Huh, then why don't you do it?", I ask crossing my arms.

The twins sigh hard as if it's obvious and I'm supposed to know why. I frown at them.

"We would knock of course but not when there's emergency", Xavier said in a dramatic duh voice.

I narrowed my eyes down at him.

Emergency my ass

"My look alike there speaks the truth", Xander nods formally

I roll my eyes.

"Hmm I wonder what's the emergency that you haven't even spoken about yet?", I mock them by putting my fingers on my chin and pretend to think.

"Matteo's birthday is coming", Xander sighs

"I'm aware", I said a bit confused

"We have to gift him something", Xavier sighs

"I'm aware of that too", I said very confused at what they're getting at.

"Hmm so you have to help us plan some gift for him now", Xander said

Xavier nods frantically.

"You guys are elder than me, going to go to college, have two minds to think, work in a mafia and..can't think of a gift for your younger brother?", I tease them

The twins frown at me.

"The only weakness is that you both aren't very smart when it comes to studies, but that doesn't stop you from thinking of an appropriate gift for our brother", I shrug

"Okay stop insulting us. We thought of a gift but Ales said no", Xavier pouts.

"Turns out our eldest brother is boring", Xander frowned
