"MASTER? MASTER PLO, COME IN?"

Tapping at her comm, Eisha groaned as she yet again gained no response. The storm was cutting all communications off from her Master. Fiddling with the dial, she cursed as it only crackled in reply.

"Kriffing hell—"

"Angel?"

Hand falling from her hair, she glanced back; squinting through the forming blizzard, snow coating her gaze. Wiping her eyes, she smiled meekly at the sight. "Hey, Calon."

"I've been looking everywhere for you, Cyare. Why aren't you on the gunship?" Gesturing to the men, he tilted his helmeted head to her, rubbing off the snow smearing his visor, "The Major wants us out—" He paused at the sudden grimace on her face, "Come on, Angel. We've talked about this."

Hugging her arms, she glanced down, "I was just trying to contact, Master Plo." Shrugging softly, before walking past Wolffe, "Since he's the only one who'd agree with me."

Stopping her from walking further, he held his arm out, "Eishi—"

"Yeah, yeah. I know." Shrugging off his arm, she headed to the gunships, "We have to follow orders, even though these orders are going to get us all killed — but hey, we're just soldiers so who cares!"

Kicking at the snow, she glared at the ground; arms crossing tightly as boots entered her vision. Finger tilting her chin up, she didn't break away from his gentle hold, instead staring hopelessly up into his visor.

Sighing softly, his thumb brushed over her cheek, "Do you really think that you're the only one who sees the issue here, Angel?"

Shaking her head, she wrapped her arms around his neck, brows furrowed as his hands trailed to her waist. Nestling her head under his helmet, she grumbled, "Then, why aren't we overruling his order?" Leaning back slightly, Wolffe stared down at her, "It's not like you couldn't lead this mission! He's going to get our men killed, Wolffe! But, it's okay because we're following orders?!"
