Chapter 4 (Part Three)

Olympus Museum

The paved street leads them to a local museum. The building is made of white stone which brings ancient feel to it. The huge statues held a powerful presence inside the museum.

Taehyung loves arts. He always dragged Seokjin to different art galleries in Korea. He appreciates beauty; especially the guy besides him, who looks like a Greek god.

They enter the main room where the artifacts were displayed. Hoseok walks towards them accompanied with a pretty young lady.

“Jin, V, this is Dorothy. The owner of this museum. Dorothy, this is Jin and V. They are my friends from Korea.”

“Nice meeting you, Jin and V. I supposed you are here for your honeymoon. Well, this is the perfect haven for lovers.”

“Oh no, we’re here for just a vacation. Nice meeting you too.” Jin replied while looking at Hoseok.

“Nice meeting you Dorothy. You are pretty just like your name.” Taehyung said as he recovered from blushing and winked at her. The V charm distracted her.

“Oh, Suddenly, I’m shy. Come inside, I’ll tour you around.”  Dorothy said and guided them inside the main exhibit.

“The left wing is full of paintings depicting the Trojan War. The center pieces are the ancient ones. The American bidders are trying to buy the paintings for a million dollars but I refused.” Then suddenly Dorothy leans in and whispers, “The black market tried to lure me with billions of dollars but still I rejected. I’m the last ancestor of Dionysus. No one wants to mess with me.” Dorothy laughs hysterically. Jin examined the location well. He can see 6 CCTVs spread all over the place. If he can turn off the security cameras, it will be easier for them to get the chalice. 

“Aren’t you afraid of burglars? Since you didn’t let them buy your arts?” Jin asked all of a sudden.

“I have 6 CCTVs here; three from the left wing and three from right wing. But on the right wing, I have different sensors for the art boxes. Come, I’ll show you.”

They went to the right wing where the glass boxes are situated. Dorothy stopped them from entering. She pressed a button from her phone and red laser lights appeared from the corner.

“Those are my special censors. They won’t go off even if you touched them but,” Dorothy put out a crumbled paper from her pocket and threw to the red laser lights. The paper was cut into two.

“That’s what will happen if you walked past the red lights. It won’t spare even a strand of hair.” Dorothy proudly showed her security features to them. She pressed the button again

“The robbers will be shredded into pieces. So they better stay out.” Taehyung winked again to Dorothy which made her blushed. Hoseok tapped his shoulder.

“Let’s go inside to see more treasures of the museum.” Hoseok pressed slightly harder. Taehyung chuckled and stopped when he saw that Jin grimaced.

“These are my babies, the mask of Agamemnon, the Hellen snake bracelet and the Chalice of Dionysus.”

They walked past the two glass boxes and focused on the third glass box.

“This is the Chalice of Dionysus. This will grant temporary immortality to those he chooses. This is his personal cup. Whoever drinks from the cup will be given an exuberant energy for the rest of the day.” Dorothy explained to them.
