With a small smile, Kasia tucked in the sleeping child's blanket, making her way quietly out of his closet-converted bedroom. The kid had gone to bed easily today, thankfully not needing a lullaby—as much as Kasia loved music, she was by no means talented at singing. And despite her best efforts, Din still refused to sing, dryly insisting that he was even worse than her. Still, Kas was resolved to break him eventually.

They were currently on a course to Sorgan where they would pick up Cara for backup before returning to Nevarro. Returning to a planet crawling with bounty hunters in addition to ex-Imperials who for whatever reason wanted the kid—a planet where their contact was likely planning to double-cross them the moment an opportunity presented itself and the possibility of death was alarmingly high.

All in all, things were looking up for the trio.

Shaking her head to clear thoughts of their rather foolish plan—if such reckless improvisation could be called that—Kasia quietly closed the door, not wanting to wake the small child inside.

We really should name the kid—we can't keep calling him "the child" or "the kid" forever. At the least I want to give him a nickname, Kas thought to herself with a sigh, turning away from the closet door.

She made her way slowly down the tiny hallway which housed the doors to the child's bunk-closet, Din's room, and her own room. For a moment, Kasia lingered outside of Din's bedroom, her hand even coming to momentarily rest on the knob.

Kasia wanted to go in, she really did. But... Din was such a private person. He had just started to break down some of his walls today, had started to slowly let her deeper into his life and his heart. She didn't want to jeopardize that by pushing him too fast, forcing too much too quickly. So, after a minute, Kasia let her hand fall back to her side with a small sigh and turned back to her own door.

As she grasped the knob of her own door, she was oblivious to the sound of the other creaking open until she heard Din's words.

"Where are you going?" he asked, the words quiet and vulnerable yet somehow also spoken with an air of resolve and composure. Blinking, Kasia turned to find Din in the doorway of his now open bedroom, standing in regular clothes save the beautiful Mandalorian helmet which looked as though it had been haphazardly thrown on.

At the sight, Kasia's heart skipped a beat as it always did, her eyes skimming the expanse of his unarmored body. She fought a blush as she felt a wave of satisfaction roll of the bounty hunter a moment later, obviously having caught her look.

Wrenching her eyes away from Din's broad shoulders (with some difficulty), Kasia's gaze darted over said shoulders to his room in silent question. He had all but offered that she join him in the room, so she justified to herself that he was actually the one leading the charge, not her.

Without a word, Din merely shifted his body to allow her passage into the room, smiling faintly under his armor at the flush on her cheeks.

"So forward," Kasia teased as she walked into the room, her eyes scanning its interior and finding the composition of the room itself very similar to her own.
