the girl sighed as she walked into a cafe. she slipped her phone back into her pockets with a gloom expression after reading all the messages juyeon sent her.

she didn't want to ignore him.

she actually got kind of used to juyeon's attention. and she liked it.

but she couldn't be close to him either.

if she did, he would probably get bolder, and these awkward moments in the group chat would happen more often.

loey's eyes scanned the place for somewhere to sit, when she found a small table near a window in the corner.

y'know, the classic seat.

she walked to it and waited for someone to bring her a menu. she wanted to see what type of drinks or pastries they had. time passed as she waited and waited but no one came.

this place doesn't even look busy right now either.

her head turned to look outside the window when she suddenly felt another presence next to her. her head turned again to find a dude in a white beret standing there.

his eyes were sharp narrowing down on her as if he was studying her. his skin was fair as his jet black hair matched with his beret. he gave her a smile, but loey could instantly tell it was fake.

almost like he was bothered.

he set a menu down on the table, and then set a plate down too. it was cheesecake: oreo cheesecake.

one of my favorites. what the actual fuck?

her head turned upwards to look at him weirdly. "uh...i haven't ordered anything yet."

"oh i know."

her eyebrows furrowed deeper. "then why did you bring me this?"

"someone sent it to you."

her eyes looked around; there weren't many people in there with her. "who did?"

"i can't say."

his tone showed that he was obviously bothered and didn't have the energy to talk to her. but his face was straight and kept studying her as he spoke.

"just tell me who or i'm going to keep bothering you. and you clearly look like you don't want that."

the boy sighed lowly. he seriously looked like he didn't want to be in that situation at the moment. she took the time to glance at his name tag, the gold one on the left side of his chest.

hyunjun.

"jaehyun sent it to you."

loey almost wanted to burst out laughing right then and there. she didn't know who or why this jaehyun would send her cheesecake. and how did he know that was one of her favorites?

"who the hell is jaehyun?"

hyunjun's eyes widened as he felt a tiny bit of panic settle in him. did he go to the wrong person? jaehyun told him it was the girl near the window. he quickly looked around to notice there was another two girls alone near windows.

shit.

what had happened was, hyunjun was minding his business peacefully as he cleaned the counter where you paid at. then out of nowhere, his coworker jaehyun started to bother him saying he had to bring a piece of cheesecake to the girl at the window, and to do it now.

he was so advocate on it being cheesecake too.

hyunjun was going to give her a piece of bread (it's cheaper) when jaehyun literally smacked his hand telling him it had to be cheesecake.
