I walked back into the dorms and saw quinn in the kitchen drinking water
quinn: what the- where'd you go? don't tell me you're doing drugs! come here!
she opened my eyelids with her fingers and checked me
josiah: what are you-
I smacked her hands away and rubbed my eyes
josiah: im not doing drugs!
quinn: that's exactly what a person on drugs would sayI sighed and sat down
quinn: what's wrong
josiah: I-
quinn: are you having withdrawals-
josiah: i'm not high!I made some ice and flicked it at her, she moved her head out of the way and dodged it.
josiah: it's..
maybe I shouldn't tell her, it's really not my place to tell her about lisettes living situation
josiah: nothing, I just wanted to get some air
quinn: you could've just gone out on the balcony
josiah: ...it's not the same!
quinn: right, well, just know that your parents can pay for a good therapist.. or rehab
josiah: you're so annoying I swearshe chuckled and then went to bed. even so, she's right. my parents can pay for a good therapist, or rehab if I really needed it. I always have a golden parachute if I need it.. what does lisette have though.. I never thought I'd feel guilt for being rich. I walked to my dorm, changed into some shorts and climbed into bed.
I was having a good dream but was interrupted by someone basically punching my door. I fell out of bed and went to go open it
quinn: hey-ooowow..
she looked at my bare chest, i chuckled and shook my head as I grabbed a shirt and put it on
josiah: what was so important that you just HAD to ruin my dream
quinn: well uh..she cleared her throat, her cheeks were flushed in a pink tint. it's so funny when she gets flustered
quinn: my parents wanted me to be at home with them today, I was gonna ask if you wanted to walk with me since your house is on the way
josiah: sure, I miss my dads cooking anyway
quinn: ugh his cooking is IMMACULATE
josiah: right?!I took a quick shower while quinn waited in her room. I changed and brushed my teeth and we were on our way to our parents houses
quinn: ooo! look at these shoes! I need them RIGHT NOW!
with a few taps, she had ordered them
josiah: are you even gonna wear them?
quinn: no, I just want them
josiah: ..I looked down at my feet as I kicked a rock
quinn: I just remembered, my mom hasn't given me my weekly allowance
josiah: ..
quinn: ima need tha-
josiah: do you think we're spoiled?she looked at me
quinn: obviously, why?
josiah: ...nothing, never mindshe looked confused but then shrugged it off
josiah: we still on for the movie tomorrow?
her face seemed to light up and she softly smiled
quinn: yeah
josiah: looks like my parents aren't homethe driveway was empty
josiah: again
quinn: ..you can come over to my house if you want, let me just call my mom to set another plate
