the accident

You sit on the deck leaning over the balcony it's been a while on the ferry when all of a sudden the boat shakes
And you hear screams of people from below you

You run down the stairs to see what all the commotion is about

You try to walk down but you are quickly pushed back from a swarm of people running up

You finally get a good glimpse of down below and see water rushing in on the ferry

You run back up the stairs thinking it's the safest option.

You run up but fall back from the ship tipping due to the water in golfing one side of the ship

You land in the icy water

The water was shallow but building up quickly

You knew if you didn't get out quick the water would fill up the whole bottom and go under

Or... If worst comes to worst it would be easier jumping out from the lower openings than right off the upper deck

you get back up stumbling up the stairs. everything was blurry from the fall and your head hurt.

you grasp the pole that's leading you up trying not to fall back again. 

you get to the top and see everyone has gotten on a lifeboat and left to the nearest shore. 

you panic until

"CAW CAW"

you look up to see a big yellow bird coming right at you.

"GET ON Y/N" He yells at you.

You jump on his back and he glides away from the wrek.

you were flying and felt...free...un-controlled.

you put your arms up and closed your eyes.

you felt the wind try to go through you but failing as you are not transparent.

you finally get to shore and bigbird wraps you in a hug

"bigbird?"

"yes Y/N"
