The mirror is my best friend,
And also my worst enemy.
For it holds my confidence,
But it also holds all my insecurities.

One day I look like a malnourished twig,
The next day I'm looking all fat.
Blue, green, black, red or yellow,
It doesn't matter because the mirror still says,
"Nope, I don't like that!"

Yesterday it told me that I'm perfect,
The prettiest of them all!
Today it said I look like a dumpling,
Guess I'll be buying plus size at the mall.

Every blemish, pimple and scar,
Is pointed out like a magnifying glass,
Down to the smallest wrinkle.
And yet, it still pointed out the day before,
That purple makes my eyes twinkle.

That bipolar piece of glass,
Could never make up its' eyes on what it sees.
Because no matter what I change,
At the end of the day,
The mirror. Still. Disagrees.
