Part 35

( The private room in which Zarin is on bed thinking and Zaid is sitting out on the sofa ☝️ )

Mahira came out and sat down on a sofa sideways. She kept her left hand on the sofa board and her forehead on it and her right hand on her right thighs. She was silently allowing her tears to flow in the waiting area. Asad went into another private room and sat the same way as Mahira was sitting but near the window on the sofa. Zaid sat down in the sitting area of Zarin's room his head leaning to the back of the sofa and eyes closed, and Zarin was in her deep thoughts sitting on her bed.

All 4 of them were thinking about their life.

Saad came out of the elevator with the tiffin in his hand and saw Mahira sitting in the waiting area so he went to her first and kept his hand on her right arm. Mahira slowly moved her head up with blur vision to see. Saad saw the tears and he got scared. He quickly wipes them up and asked,

Saad: aapi is bhabhi already?

Mahira nobs her head in yes and again puts her head down on her left hand. Saad never understood why Mahira is behaving like this. But he knew there is something different today. So he continued

Saad: aapi what happened? You tell me, maybe I can solve your problem.

Mahira just whispers, 'no' to him keeping her head down. So Saad was left with no choice and said

Saad: Aapi I have brought dinner lets go

Mahira again looked at him wiping her tears she said

Mahira: Saad you go, I am coming

Saad: but aapi it will get cold

Mahira: Please Saad, I request you. Please go I am coming in few minutes.

Saad finally gave up and stood up with a nob. As soon as he saw the second private room door open he peep in and Asad too was sitting like Mahira. He kept the tiffin on the table and walked and sat beside Asad and kept his hand on his shoulder. Asad looked up and saw his brother but did not say a word. His eyes were glassy. Saad moved forward to hug him and Asad sob in the crook of his neck.

It was not at all easy to see Mahira every day but still behave as just friends. He was getting tried with this fake relation in which they were. He wanted her to be his in a lawful and halal way forever.

Saad rubs his hand on Asad's back and then after few minutes, Asad pulls back. He did not dare to speak. It was like the first time he sobs that to in front of his younger brother whom he considers as a son and is always strong in front of him as a savior and father.

Saad saw his brother and understood that something happened between Mahira and Asad. He was scared for Asad and seeing him breaking down was new for Saad. So he spoke

Saad: bhaijan what happened?

Asad did not say a word and just nob his head in negative and wipe his tears with his palm. Saad knew Asad will never show his pain, tension to anyone. He was like an ocean. Who was deep and can keep everything to himself. So Saad did not ask further and said,

Saad: bhaijan dinner is here. Come have it?

Asad: where is Mahira?

Saad saw his brother and could read his facial expression this time that how worried he was for her and how Mahira was his priority before himself.

Saad: aapi said she is coming in few minutes.

Asad just nobs and said the same as Mahira, that he will come in few minutes. Saad just nob and left from there carrying the tiffin
