"Happy birthday Lani!" Toby said picking up his little sister.
"Thanks bubba." Lani hugged his neck as they walked to the kitchen.
"Thats not fair I wanted to get the birthday girl!" Dawson said taking her from him. "Happy birthday my baby." They kissed Lani on the cheek going to the table.
"Happy birthday princess." Schlatt kissed the top of her head.
"Thanks daddy!" She smiled and sat in her booster.
The morning was spent with pancakes, presents, and laughter.

"Where to first birthday girl?" Addie asked holding her hand.
"The park!" Lani squealed feeling like one of the big kids.
The group stayed at the park until four, spending only two hours in the sun.
On the way home Lani video chatted with Ranboo.
"I miss you rainboo." She said leaning on her bubba.
"I miss you too Lani, make extra paper crowns and put it in the box your bubba sends for me." He said with a smile.
"Deal." She smiled.

"Happy birthday dear Lani. Happy birthday to you!"
Lani squeezed her eyes shut and blew out her candles.
The night was filled with kids on sugar highs, laughter, and even karaoke.
