Once when The King Akbar
Was worried as his son,
Started playing with a bad boy

Only with him, he used to have fun.

But Akbar desperately wanted
To change his son's friend,
He asked Birbal for suggestions
And bring their friendship to an end.

"Birbal can you help me
To break this useless friendship apart,
My son can not be with a bad boy
It really hurts my heart."

Birbal asked Akbar to rest
While he'll accomplish this task,
He went to the playing boys
And to come near him, he asked.

He called the other boy only
And went near his ears,
But didn't said a single word
He was excited about what he hears.

But when Birbal said nothing
The boy rudely left and went to play
He was actually a bad boy
Having no manners in his ways.

Birbal called him loudly this time
"Don't tell anyone what I said.
Not even your friend over there.
Not anyone at all." He pleaded.

But the boy went so irritated
As he had nothing to tell anyone,
"What is this man talking about?
He is surely a mad person."

When he reached the curious prince
Who was watching this from far away,
"What did Birbal told you, friend?
And what to no one you can say?"

"Oh! That man said nothing to me
Let's just start our game."
"You can tell me. I'm your friend
Why are you acting so lame?"

"But he didn't say anything
You should not think about that man."
"No, he is Raja Birbal. And
He is the smartest in our clan."

"But what did he told you?
And wanted to have it a secret.
Please, my dear friend, tell me
If my friendship you want to get."

"I promise he told me nothing
I've nothing that I can tell."
"You are a lier get out of here!
You're not a true friend." He yelled.

The boy broke Prince's toys
That he had in his hand,
The prince believed he was not at all
A good and useful friend.

Akbar was astonished to see
How Birbal easily,
Made the prince realise the fact
That he was playing with a boy silly.

So that's how 'The Clever Birbal'
Proved himself the smartest of all,
And with his great skills, he won
The hearts of the crowd in the hall.
