third person.
after a somewhat successful therapy session despite the bad mood mollie was in that day, the pair left the room and followed their conversation through until they reached the area max had been sitting in waiting for his sister, it was then conversation was dropped and mollie went silent once again.
"are you going to wait by the car?" max asked her, receiving a simple nod before the girl walked out of the building and max sighed, eventually turning to diana, "was she okay? i don't know why she's been in a bad mood all day."
"she was great," diana nodded and smiled, guiding the boy over to the front desk as max gave her a nod in response.
"she is all fine with you isn't she? i know she had bad past experiences with therapists so..." he mumbled, looking over at diana as she sighed and looked up at him.
"she's one of my favourite clients," she told him, "i don't ever feel like she's going to harm me, she's great."
"are you sure because if not i can talk to-" max soon stopped speaking as soon as he noticed the look diana was giving him, one of her brows raised before she shook her head and looked down at her paperwork.
"are you the one who cares for her right now?" diana asked him, receiving a small nod as john looked at the boy confused, "that makes sense as to why you're so worried about her."
"you're not old enough to be her dad.. there's no way." john spoke up, glancing between him and diana.
"i'm not her dad," max laughed nervously, "i'm her brother."
"oh," he paused, "so how long have you been caring for her?"
"fourteen years," the boy shrugged, quickly turning back to diana to avoid the conversation as he sighed.
"so how old were you when it started?"
"john." diana looked at him, "not your problem."
"i was nine," max smiled slightly, "anyway i-"
"how was that allowed?"
"john please drop it." diana interrupted their conversation, holding her hands up as john raised his eyebrows before nodding and walking away, "i'm sorry about him."
"it's fine." he shrugged before grabbing his wallet from his back pocket, "anyway, how much is it for this week?"
"it's already been taken care of," diana shook her head, watching max look up from his wallet confused.
"by who?"
"i thought you.."
"no i didn't," he slowly shook his head.
"unless i'm reading it wrong," diana furrowed her eyebrows, glancing down at her paperwork again before she titled her head, "no it said it was paid for under your name."
"someone used my name to pay?"
"yep," she nodded.
"okay," max nodded slightly before sliding his wallet back into his pocket, "i didn't expect that."
"well this is my first time meeting you so i thought that was you over the phone," she shrugged, "but you're all good, i'll make sure it doesn't happen next week."
