The Final Year (vol 1)

"Amarachi, can you help me with the zip? Please?" I ask her as she all but skip up to me, fondling with the zip. "Careful" I said as she carefully zip up the dress.

"All done"

"Thank you" I said turning around to give her a smile, she gaped as soon as she saw my complete form.

"Oh my God! Senior Teni! You look stunning" she gushed as I laughed.

"Thank you... "

I told her turning to look at my two friends as they both get ready for the dinner. They all look amazing in their dresses. We all wore the same color according to the dress code.

Mine was a long, velvety dress. I love velvet by the way so it was not a problem for me. I paired it with golden accessories, golden pumps, and a golden purse.

My hair was done in a nice, sleek, bun and my make up which was done by me was nude. I love nude make up.

"Let me help you with that" I take the mascara from her hand, gently applying it.

"You look good.. And very beautiful" I giggled at Tomi's words as I carefully apply the mascara on her eyelashes.

"You look very beautiful Tomi" I told her quietly.

Her dress was a mixture of lace and satin, it sits well on her petite figure. Adeola dress was of a expensive lacy material. We all look great.

We did our traditional day two days ago, it was bomb! Everyone was dressed in different traditional attire ranging from Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Fulani, Edo, etc. It was so colorful together with the presentations from the junior class.

We took a lot of pictures adding to my memories of this unique school that changed my life so much. Closing the bottle of mascara I hand it over to her same time Adeola walked in.,

I smile as she gushed over our outfit, it reminds me of how I reacted to Shubbie in 'Agbada' during our traditional day.

He looks so good in the traditional attire I just had to say it out giving a boost to his already inflated ego.

"You are going to turn a lot of heads tonight, my dear" Adeola cooed as I roll my eyes. Nana Aishat took my camera, taking few shots of us from different angles. "Omo... See yansh"

"Shut up jor! " I snap at her as they all laughed. I hissed going through my purse as I wait for them to be done.

Tonight is the night!

Few  minutes later, we were ready to go.

"Nana, come here" she walked closer holding the helm of her gown by her hand, walking carefully with her heels. I go through my bag, fetching my pink lip gloss, applying it on her parched lips.

"All done" I told her as she nods.

Applying my perfume, i stepped out with my girls.

The red carpet started 7pm on dot. The photographer was there, already taking pictures of students who were  there for the dinner party.

Almost all the students were present, including some teachers who were there to assure there was no fooling around.

Some brought a date and others choose to go solo.

"You look dashing in suit" Prince said smirking at his friend "actually we all look dashing " he said with a smug grin on his face as his friends shook their heads at his antics.
