Chapter 12

Landon

Weakness.

Having a weakness will only make you weak.

It won't make you stronger, it'll make you weaker.

People will feed off of it.

They will use it against you.

And that will only make you vulnerable to the world.

To let them see what can hurt you the most.

I never had a weakness.

I had no one to care for me, which led me to have no one to care for.

But it's different now.

Because I have her.

My weakness.

I speed through the streets, going back and forth between cars.

I make it to my destination and park the car.

Glancing through the review mirror I see my men behind me in a black SUV.

I get out of the car, not before placing my hand on my waistband where my gun sits.

Once I'm out, I shut the car door and signal my men to come out.

I start walking towards the dark alleyway, with my men following me behind.

I take out a cigarette and light it up, taking a long drag from it.

I stand, leaning against the wall and watch as my men carry the poor excuse of a man towards me.

They hold down his arms as the man fights against them.

I take another drag while watching the pure terror on the man's face as his eyes watch me closely.

"Please Angelo I-" He says but I cut him off with a dark chuckle.

I look him in the eyes coldly.

"What makes you think,

I say darkly and pause looking down as I drop the bud to the ground and step on it lightly.

you can call me that ?" I say continuing.

I now look up to his terrified eyes and smirk darkly at him.

I take a step forward and he begins to struggle more against the men holding him down.

"Please I-I beg y-you. I have a wife a-and a stepson at home" He stutters in fear pathetically.

I stare at him with cold eyes knowing damn well that he doesn't give a single shit about his wife or stepson.

Due to the way he's been abusing his wife and has molested his stepson.

Fucking pathetic.
