Amy was browsing through her social media when her phone began to ring. Her face lit up when she saw the caller ID, but she immediately composed herself before answering the call.

"I'm mad at you." She hastily said, not giving the caller the chance to speak.

"I waited for a goodnight call last night or even a simple text, but I got nothing."

"Forgive me, beautiful. I had a lot on my plate yesterday." Bryan quickly apologized.

"And a simple goodnight was too much to say?"

"I wasn't trying to justify myself, princess. I know I acted badly and I take full responsibility for my actions. Please forgive me."

Amy was biting her fingers while smiling to herself. He was really falling for her act. If only he knew she wasn't at all upset, rather she was feeling giddy inside just from hearing his husky voice.

"Why didn't you call? I couldn't sleep last night." She said with a pout, trying to sound sad.

"I had a couple of meetings to attend to and after that, I had to go over some contract papers... I'm sorry I neglected you."

"No, I'm the one who should be sorry. It's not even twenty four hours and I'm already being clingy." Amy apologized, feeling bad for trying to pull his legs in this manner, when he was infact a very busy man, who has a business empire to run.

"It's okay to be upset, Amy. Tell me... How do I make it up to you?"

Amy grinned from ear to ear on hearing his question. There is only one thing she desires right now.

"I want to see you, but... That should be when you're less busy." She replied, pushing her desires aside and putting into consideration the nature of his work.

"How about this weekend?" Bryan asked after some seconds of silence. She guess he was checking his schedule.

"This weekend sounds perfect."

"Where would you like us to have our date?"

A warm blush rose to Amy's cheeks at the mention of date. Her dream is finally becoming a reality.

"Date?... Who wants to go on a date with you?" She teased while playing with the tip of her hair.

"Okay. We can cancel and I can just come over to say hi." He teased back.

"Not fair!" She exclaimed, already pouting.

"You never asked me out on a date in the first place." She pointed out to him.

"There's someone at your door." Bryan suddenly changed the subject, making Amy frown.

"You're trying to change the subject." She grumbled.

"I'm not, my love but you may wanna answer that."

The way he called her his love sounded much different from that of her dad. It sounded so romantic with his breathtaking voice, making her obey him without any more objection.

"Don't hang up." She said as she made her way downstairs.

"I won't."

Amy opened the front door and before her stood a delivery man with a bouquet of red roses.

"Delivery for Amy Norman." The delivery man announced.

"I'm Amy." She replied, trying really hard to contain her excitement.

"Please sign here."

She immediately did as she was told and directed the man to place the bouquet of flowers on the coffee table in the living room, which he did before taking his leave.

Amy squealed in excitement when she was alone in the living room.

"You don't plan on turning me deaf now, do you?" Bryan's husky voice brought her out of her wonderland, making her blush in embarrassment.

"I'm guessing you like it." He then said.

Amy was inhaling its beautiful scent, lost in her own thoughts.

"I love it. Thank you." She politely replied, still a bit baffled by his surprise gift.

"So?... What is your answer?"

Bryan's question confused Amy because he didn't ask her any question. She suddenly noticed a note in the midst of the flowers. She took the note and opened it.

'Will you be my girlfriend?' the note read.

Amy gasped in surprise, before realizing that this was what Bryan was referring to.

"Yes." She replied in a shy, but happy voice not believing that Bryan was this romantic.

"Now, will you go out on a date with me?"

"I'd love that."

"Thank you, Amy. I love you."

"I love you too, Bryan."

Bryan then said goodbye and hung up.

Amy sighed in happiness, looking forward to her first date with her official boyfriend this weekend. She quickly took a selfie of herself beside the bouquet of red roses and sent it to Mandy, before asking one of the maids to take it to her bedroom.
