"till death due us part" what a dumb phrase. if you're going to love someone, shouldn't you love them even in the afterlife? I mean, the whole concept of love revolves around a spiritual and emotional union right? well.. I guess they're two different things.. but still, it's a dumb phrase.. or so i thought.

kairi: josiah can you get me the milk-
eli: get it yourself
kairi: I was talking to josiah
eli: and im talking to you

my mom gave him a glare and then they sat down to eat. the tension in the air was enough to make me not want to eat anymore. i had gotten to the house very early in the morning cause i had left a book i needed, then they invited me to eat with them. my mom has been at my dads throat for the past week now

monday:

we were watching a movie and my dad wanted to hug my mom, but she smacked his hand away

eli: you're so annoying.
kairi: I didn't do anything
eli: you're breathing so loud!
kairi: no im not!
eli: stop breathing!
kairi: wh- you want me to die?!
eli: im going to sleep, you can sleep in the guest room.

she got up and my dad tried to grab her waist but she smacked his hands behind her and went upstairs

tuesday:

I was helping my dad move stuff into the backyard and my mom came out with a bowl of fruit and two cups of water. it was hot outside and my dad and I were dying

eli: here

she handed me the bowl and a glass of water. my dad wiped his sweat and smiled at my mom, walking over to her

kairi: thank you bebe I-

she drank the water

eli: were you expecting this? hm, people disappoint, don't they?

she walked back inside the house

wednesday:

my mom was doing some online shopping

kairi: i'll pay for your things
eli: what, you think im broke?

she looked at him, not turning her head though

kairi: no-
eli: I don't need you, or your money

my mom got up from the couch and took her computer upstairs

thursday:

kairi: babe
eli: ...
kairi: eli
eli: ...

she completely ignored him

kairi: arely

she threw a grape in her mouth, he got up and walked over to her, gently lifting her chin to look up at him

kairi: darling..

she gave no reaction whatsoever. instead she used her telekinesis to push him away, then she grabbed her keys and left to work

present:

kairi: i'm gonna be late tonight, I have a lot of work
eli: im sure you do

she said, as she took a sip of her coffee, then glared at him from across the table

josiah: you know um... I should probably get to school now..

I put the pancake my mouth and got my backpack

I stopped and looked over at her
